The Little Whisky Shop

An excellent afternoon experience. We only popped our noses in on a walk down the high street, but ended up staying for the afternoon. We sampled some wonderful whiskys, gins, and eyed up a few rums for our next visit as well.
Tasting experiences are available and the bar area to drink in is warm and welcoming, with music or sports fixtures on the TV. All in all, it is a great place to sit back, relanx and try the wide range of whiskys and spirits they offer.
With a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff that will be able to point you in the direction of the dram you desire, I challenge anyone to visit and leave without a big smile on their face. This is a destination in itself and I'd encourage you to go, make a day of it, and remember to find something to bring home with you as well.

A fantastic whisky shop in Stockbridge with a little bar at the back. The drams on offer were extensive and really reasonably priced. Their shop offered an impressive selection of whiskies from around the world. Prices were decent. Really friendly spot. Highly recommend!

My son & I wanted to make our own alcohol advent calendar.
After looking at the very wide selection & advice we purchased the 15 remaining whiskey miniatures for this to happen.
A great way to try whiskey & once we've found what we like we will be back to purchase the big bottles.

The Little Whiskey Shop kindly did a whiskey bar for our wedding day. Mark and Jenny created such a wonderful atmosphere and were so helpful and informative that the whiskey bar was swamped all night leaving the 'normal' bar with an unusual little queue! Despite being very outnumbered all night, Mark and Jenny were brilliant at helping the guests find a whiskey they liked, from the whiskey lovers to the newbies with no waiting time. Mark was great at hosting a tasting for us (bride, groom and bride's father) to help determine what whiskies to bring that we'd enjoy. The selection brought was a whiskey lovers dream! Thank you, Mark and Jenny, for making our special day even better and being the talk of the day!

The guy working here today was very helpful and knowledgeable. Allowed our friends to have a look at lots of the gins in stock. He also told us they do regular whisky tasting evenings ,even organising virtual online tasting evening, where they send you samples of the whisky so you can join in online..

Outstanding selections of gin, whiskey and rums. The staff are really knowledgeable and friendly. The fact you can have tasters is great and make better choice of the options available. Lovely cosy winter fireplace also if you stay a little longer for a tipple or two! Highly recommend .

What a shop! Visited on the recommendation of my son and daughter-in-law, who live locally. Discovered a bottle of Johnnie Walker Green Label (which I have never heard of) and I can’t wait to taste it. As Arnold Schwarzenegger would have said - I will return!

The Little Whisky Shop is amazing! They have a great range of spirits and all are reasonably priced. The packaging the bottles are delivered in is one of the best I've seen. The little signed notes from the owners is also a nice touch.

Amazing gems can be found in the place, I have picked up a couple so far.

Ordered online during the Jan21 lockdown. Had not used them before but they were the only shop I could find that had the whisky I wanted in stock. Was pleasantly surprised to find their prices were competitive compared to bigger retailers and although I only wanted the one item at this time, there seemed to be an excellent range. The service and delivery were excellent, including a personal thank you note. Have to say they will be my first port of call from now on.

Found a discontinued whisky that is hard to find. The price was still good. Service was great, fast delivery.
There was even a personal message card in the box thanking me for my order and hoping that I would enjoy the dram and keep safe during the covid pandemic. This all makes the service stand out from the many online whisky shops that I have used before.

So refreshing to buy something on-line from a 'real' whisky shop run by Mark and Jenni. Not only did the package arrive inside 48 hours, it also came with a really nice personal message of thanks with the order. A really nice touch. Merry Christmas to you both!

My husband and I visited The Little Whisky Shop around 3 months ago and bought a really nice bottle of local Test Valley gin. We wanted something local and the shop came up trumps with the Test Valley bottle, letting us sample in store before buying. With my husband's birthday coming up, I contacted them recently to ask for a recommendation for something different as we had so enjoyed the Test Valley bottle. They recommended Cotswold gin and were quick to send it out. We haven't tried it yet, but just wanted to say how great the service was and that we'll definitely be back! A great small business that looks after its customers.
