Very polite staff with a vast knowledge of everything they have in stock, so very helpful and patient, none of this trying to sell you anything you don't need or the most expensive, just truly honest great service, as it used to be old fashion values, they also stock an amazing range of shooting clothing for ladies and gents and accessories, with a in-store tailoring service for any alterations, allow your selves a couple of hours to explore every thing, you will not be disappointed, good wheelchair access with staff on hand to help, 10/10,

Fantastic shop with a seriously large selection of stock at various price points. Staff are very knowledgeable and were happy to spend a lot of time running through different kit with me and explain each pieces pros and cons. Very rarely have I experienced such personal customer experience, especially when it was apparent there were other people in that shop intending to spend a lot more money than I - yet I was still treated exactly the same. Highly recommend a visit, don't forget to pick up a few robjent daddy's!

I always make a point of visiting the shop when fishing in the area. I have to say I always find something to buy as they have a huge selection of stock. Always helpful with advice etc. I recently called them close to closing time for something and as promised a call back came even after they had shut to say they had the item and would post it to me. First class service!!

Great shop, staff were excellent in helping me choose waders, boots and fly reel, not been in a shop where I have had such a personal service. Without doubt one of the best shops I've visited, will be back. Also visited the Mayfly pub on route back home, the area is steeped in trout fishing history, it was not a visit to a tackle shop but a whole day out, for the trout angler I would thoroughly recommend a visit. Also visit the Grosvenor hotel, good food and lots of trout fishing pics and flies etc on the walls.

Would 100% recommend. By far and away the best fly fishing shop in Hampshire and surrounding area. Unrivalled customer service, outstanding selection of tackle, knowledge and equipment. If you need it they have it! Salmon, trout, carp, pike, tarpon, bonefish etc. More importantly the staff don’t pressure you or try to sell you the most expensive stuff, instead they get you fitted out with what’s right for you and to your budget.

Very helpful and knowledgeable outfitters; as a novice flyfisher just starting out, it is great to get top quality advice and product in a store where you can see, touch and handle before you buy, unlike the internet. Use it or lose it, shop in-store and not on-line.

Bought a new rod, reel, line etc... and few oddments. The owners were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I will be back!
