Hertford Gymnastics Club

Having been a member of Hertford Gymnastics Academy since 2012, my daughter has grown up with the club. She's attended many of the holiday camps and always enjoys them immensely.
The coaches are all incredibly supportive and hard-working and always ensure that the gymnasts are working at the right level. They made extra effort during lockdowns to keep the gymnasts entertained while maintaining their flexibility and strength.
Now that the club has moved to its amazing new facility things can only get better. My daughter is really looking forward to training for when competitions start again.

My daughter joined Hertford after leaving another club and it was the best decision we could have made. The club is friendly, welcoming and understanding of individual needs. With the support of Sarah and a committed caring team of coaches I have watched her confidence go from strength to strength. After a challenging year the club has offered an amazing online package via zoom and providing a sense of normality. The new facilities are the cherry on top! Thanks HGA

My daughter has been a member of the club for eight months. In that time she has been made to feel very welcome and has made so much progress. She’s achieved many badges and medals. The new gym facilities are brilliant. She just loves her classes and attending all the holiday camps. I would definitely recommend.

My daughter joined 9 months ago (now 7 years old), and we haven't looked back! The team at Hertford Gymnastics are now her gym family, and the progress she has made has been unbelievable in such a relatively short space of time. Sarah and her wonderful team of coaches nurture my daughter so well, recognise her strengths, develop her new skills in a supportive environment, and help her to set and achieve her own goals. She absolutely loves all her coaching sessions. During lockdowns the coaches put together a wonderful zoom timetable and adapted sessions and times as needed depending on age and ability of the children. Our only regret - that we didn't move to HGA sooner!

My daughter joined this club in August and has improved so much in the short time, even with lockdown reducing the gymnasts to train via zoom calls. The club is friendly and all the staff and gymnasts are so welcoming. The clubs new home is absolutely amazing, and is going to be an awesome home for the club. Thank you for having us in your club which feels like a family.

My daughter has only ever been at this Gymnastics club for nearly 4 years, since she was 4 years old. She absolutely loves it and has learnt so many skills with such dedicated team of coaches. Would highly recommend this club with fantastic and clean equipment and facilities. We are proud of daughter to be apart of this club and the team.

My daughter went to a birthday party with Sarah and her team 2 years ago and ever since has absolutely loved being part of the club. She had never done gymnastics before and has come on leaps and bounds even over lockdown as they ran zoom sessions each week. My younger daughter had her first session on Sunday too and she absolutely loved being on the equipment in the brand new facility which is ideally located and has everything they could need.

Since my oldest daughter joined her improvement is unreal. She goes twice a week plus goes to the holiday camps and loves it. All the staff are caring and so friendly. My youngest daughter has now joined and loves it too. Was my best decision to join the HGA family xXx

My daughter has been a member of the club for 4 years and her progression thanks to the coaching and management team has been incredible. Joining at age 7 and able to cartwheel, to qualifying for British and English Championships for Tumbling and DMT at age 9. Its more than a club, more like a family and truly a pleasure to be part of, thank you 😊

Both my daughters go to this excellent club. The facilities are really great and the emphasis is on fun. They’ve both grown so much in confidence and skill since they joined. Sarah and her team are really helpful and organised. Lovely club.

My son has been attending gymnastics classes for 6 weeks and his confidence and abilities have greatly improved under the care of Mrs Wesley and more recently Tess. They strike a good balance between discipline and fun and we couldn't be happier! It's definitely not just for girls and my husband has been made to feel very welcome.

My daughter has been a member of HGA for the last 5 years and I cannot praise them highly enough. The team of coaches are not only professional and great at what they do, but are all very much loved by the gymnasts too. Lockdown zooms were very well run, and as a result my daughter has returned a better and stronger gymnast than before. The other parents are all very friendly and the bond and support between the gymnasts is amazing - they truly are part of a team, even when competing individually. Sarah, her team and all the gymnasts at HGA deserve every success they have, and continue, to achieve and the new premises will only serve to enhance this.

Amazing place for your child to go.

Fantastic support. Friendly people. Never feel you are on your own.
It’s all because of Sarah and all of her coaches that we can achieve all best for our girls.. you and the coaches believe in them all.. Team HGA all the way.. we are getting better and achieving big things thanks to you all.. 🌹

Money grabbing. Shameless. Ruthless.
Seems like many parents are jumping ship on this club at the moment. For the life of me I can't work out why they're only jumping now!? We went for half a term, it was plain to see they were only after your money. Every opportunity to charge you for something was taken, even to watch your kids perform! Regular leotard changes, which had to be bought at over the top prices, hiked up costs for everything, then grabbing an old shed of a building to call a 'purpose built gym', yeah right! It's a dump. Asking parents to come and paint it for them to save on decorators and expecting the parents to 'bring their own paint and kit!" Beyond a joke. Kids as young as 6 are being made to do 6 hours of gym a week, told extra classes are mandatory. Their poor growing bodies! Really think twice!

Not impressed with the way they run a club. It all about money rather then safety for our kids. Avoid!!!
