The Six Templars - JD Wetherspoon

My husband visited for coffee and a coke, he said the coffee was good, the atmosphere was warm, and the service was quick and pleasant. He said if we lived in Hertford, he would visit every day — so I think he liked it :)

Spoons deserves every success. Lovely building with cheap drinks and food on tap. Great choice of beers on tap and friendly staff. Open later than other pubs in Hertford. What more could you ask for!

Wow, didn't realise that the rear of the pub garden is actually the outer castle wall.
Friendly staff and food was hot when it arrived the table.
Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.
Popped back in when we visited Hertford again quieter in the morning.but still great service..
Had spotted some but not all of the Heraldic decor of which there's lots so took a couple more pics.

Town centre location. Parking nearby. Lovely lunch, reasonably priced. Good friendly service. Also attached new festive menu. Half peri peri chicken, chips and coleslaw, equal to any well known rival. Katsu curry for my partner also highly recommended

Breakfast has gone down hill recently. Often items taken off of menu due to shortages 'toast' !?
My last one cold, rubbery egg.
Always issues with coffee machines.

Lovely experience and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Great selection of ales as to be expected. Well run, clean and lovely bunch of locals.

Very very busy but nice atmosphere and very nice food no complaints.

Average spoons, upstairs is very small but a nice enough view, downstairs is very big yet feels cramped

Good service, cheap drinks, and food. Can get food with a soft drink or a pint included for additional £1. The smoking area is available to the rear, with no smoking seating at the front of the pub (front of the pub is on a busy road. The pub has men/female toilets outside, which also serve the public as well as paying customers. On my visit (outside toilet), there was clearly a water leak somewhere as the floor was flooded.

Typical Wetherspoons quality, value, pleasant environment and exemplary service and facilities. Get the app for the locations of Weatherspoon restaurants and hotels across the UK as well as for ordering and paying at the table for even faster service. All except on busy Saturday lunchtimes when service slows and Coffee isn't available.

Great pub, good value and my family loved it. Will visit again

Firsr time at The Six Templars and was impressed with the service and food. Definitely will be going back for more. Good job guys n girls.

Good food and venue.
We managed to get a table around 8pm after that it was very busy.

Parking nearby. Clean toilets. Friendly efficient service, good food at a reasonable price. Had the new katsu chicken curry which was delicious. Plenty of seating. Approx 15 minute walk from train station

Nice place, nice food with reasonable prices

I was a little sceptical at first because I hadn't been in a while but I thought I would take my kids for a birthday lunch. I had no need to worry because it was the best mixed grill I had ever tasted!!! Really made their day special. Asked the waiter to find out the chef that cooked it and they told me there name was Ben P. Thank you very much Ben! You made our day 🙂 Will be coming back for their next birthday and will tell all our friends to request food from Ben when they go.

We had a lovely get together here we never ate her so cannot comment on food . Would definitely return

I only discovered this pub 2 weeks ago and it is very good, I love the way it is laid out, The food is good, The service is great and it has a wonderful atmosphere

Spoons deserve every sucess. Housed in a lovely building, extremely cheap prices, great selection of real ales and staple food. Open later than other pubs, what more could you want!
