BEWARE OF IDENTITY FRAUD ATTEMPTS.

I have never liked going to this Post Office - they are incredibly rude and unhelpful - but today I had to as my parcel had been delivered there. When I went to collect the parcel, they took my drivers license number, and asked for a signature. I thought it seemed illegitimate so I called Parcelforce (who shipped my parcel) and they said that such action should never be taken. I spoke to the police and they warned of it being an identity fraud attempt.

Save yourself the aggravation and never visit the store.

The people in the shop are extremely rude..I can't believe they get away with talking to their customers like they do..I had 3 small packages to post and asked for proof of posting for them ..the man who wears the hat said "we don't give proof of posting on stamp deliveries"..I was confused as I've been taking packages to the PO for a long time..and I've always asked for POP and I've never been told no..which is what I said to him..he said "then go back there!"..I did nothing for this man to react like this..so I just took my package back and walked straight out of the shop..gobsmacked to be honest! we use the shop quite a lot normally as I work with special needs and we use the shop often to buy snacks, drinks etc personally I will never use that shop ever again..

Used this post office many times and never once been greeted with a smile, always with a snarl or a moan. The couple that run it have no idea about customer service, everything is an effort, & they are generally rude & obstructive, even though I’m always polite to them. The wife especially seems to hate her job and it shows. I’ve been treated with so much disdain by them over the last few months I have now decided to never go back.

If you want to be spoken to rudely and like you are an inconvienece then this is the place for you. The couple that run this store are not suited to a customer facing roles and seem to take enjoyment in making life as difficult as possible. I would not recommend using the post office or store.

The wife is fine but the husband bit of a Basil Fawlty Character - tries to make life as difficult as possible for the customer. Nasty side to him. Very nice to my wife but nasty to me. A bit pervy if you ask me. Refuses parcels from me but OK if my wife takes it in. Obstructive behaviour in general. I am taking it up with the Post Office Licensing Authorities
