The Suncliff Hotel Bournemouth

We have just come back from a few days away and despite the weather we had a lovely time . Checking in we spoke to Laura she was amazing , she saw my husband had mobility issues and made sure we were in a room that met his needs . The room and view was lovely. We had booked bed and breakfast which was lovely, constantly topped up and a good variety. We used the pool daily and though it is a little tired it is clean and quiet so we really enjoyed ourselves .Entertainment was on twice during our stay and both were very good 👍. We had an issue with a drunk man not leaving us alone but the bar tender was brilliant and kept him away and checked on us through the evening.
So sorry we didn't get his name but I'm sure he will remember , both him and Laura on reception are a credit to your hotel and we will definitely be back again.

On arrival, the receptionist was professional and very friendly. Our room was clean and tidy and we even had our room serviced (something we haven't always had at other hotels) The food was delicious especially the breakfast as the mushrooms, beans and eggs all tasted flavoursome along with the orange juice. The waiters were helpful and tidy. The swimming pool was clean and the sauna was hot. We had a lovely stay and definitely plan to return. Thank you all.

We have been coming here for Sunday roast dinners for over 15 years. I usually attend with my nan, mum and step-dad most Sundays. We are always greeted with friendly people and the choice of meat is always good and to a high standard. To be critical, the gravy is always very runny, but that's my only qualm! Thanks to the team for providing nice meals.

Brother visited and stayed first time here. Reception fine bar staff welcoming and thank you to both Diana’s who looked after Mark during stay and welcomed us as locals to visit. Will definitely be rebooking thank you a nice down to earth place to stay .✨and pictures show view of coast a stone throw away:)

We have recently stayed here from Sunday-Tuesday we had a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone looking to book a short break. The facilities were excellent as advertised all members of staff were extremely helpful whenever we needed anything.

Can't believe it's only rated 3stars. We can't fault it, the staff, the food, the service and then an amazing room. Would recommend.

Really great hotel. It’s clean and lots of nice little creative elements. The reception were so polite and friendly. We had such good chats with the locals as well. Awesome pool table and great food. Definitely returning for our next break.

Lovely hotel well placed and friendly staff ,but I have to say the food was OK but could have been better. The self service breakfast was great but the hot plates were not hot enough sometimes your food was cold. Just a simple thing to turn up the heat but some not bothered to do so.

We actually came for a 80s dance class and it was great. Great for a hen do or other parties.

Lovely old hotel, very old world, art deco old in fact, amazing pool area , amazing sea views ,great staff,
Cannot fault it at all.
Sauna, barbells, quick walk down a zigzag path and you are on the beach and the bournemouth goats who live on the cliff are cool too.

A beautiful setting nice and quite with a view that's absolutely lovely a lot cheaper price if you use Suncliffs website 👍

Great hotel , we got a very good price deal and wonderful receptionist upgrade our room due to our wedding anniversary that was really surprising and nice. We had a massive comfortable bed , anyway whole room was very specious. View from out balcony was stunning. Was clean we use indoor pool as well Highly recommended

Rooms are clean but ours had no window that could open and was next to the lift so was awkward getting in/out of room while people were waiting for or leaving the lift. Asked for an upgrade room, paid little extra but our new room is amazing. The hotel staff are absolutely brilliant, very much helpful, friendly, polite and accommodating to needs especially if your disabled. First time visiting Bournemouth and it's a lovely place.

My sisters, mum and I have just return from a mini break and can’t recommend this wonderful hotel enough. Our rooms had stunning views and were absolutely spotless. The house keeping team are a real credit to the company. Nothing was too much trouble. One member in particular went above and beyond when mum had a fall in her room ( Maria, thank you so much, you are a beautiful soul). The bar staff made our stay brilliant with great service, making us feel at home and offering great suggestions on food and drinks. The reception staff were polite, friendly and so professional. We also had a spa treatment package in the adjoining hotels. The treatments helped everyone de-stress and relax. This was followed up by an amazing afternoon tea with champagne.
Thank you everyone for the incredible stay. We hope to return. Highly recommended

I liked the kind, helpful welcome at reception. They were ready and willing to help even though we arrived well before checking in time. Also during the stay a guest got locked out from his room, returning from a swim I guess, and was inappropriately dressed and was just walking about nonchalantly, I really appreciated the hotel manager telling him to cover himself properly, as small children were about..THANKS!👍

I had the most amazing birthday the staff were brilliant and so friendly! Upgraded me as it was my birthday and was so accommodating to me and my family. We had the most wonderful time I want to name Michaela and Keeley who went over and beyond they

Where do I start? This is the second time I’ve been back, and oh mighty what an experience. A brilliant experience it’s been. This first time was for my mother’s 60th birthday and the staff put on a mid blowing amount of effort and care to ensure everything went perfect, and it did. The day was emotional, special, and a wonderful memory for us all. 2 months later, we are back again. Could not keep away. There so many people to give a shout out to for such an amazing experience; from the reception staff to the bar staff, always so lovely and kind. Really cared about your day and what you were getting up to. And whether there was anything they could do to help or make it even better. Than you so much to Laura, Eduardo, Arina. And an extra special shout out to Michaela for really putting her time and effort to ensuring we had the best holiday get away to create new memories. The rooms were amazing, clean, modern, well kept and were lucky enough to have the terrace. Would highly recommend. Felt like a second home. And the welcome we received when coming back was amazing.
