Boldshaves Garden

First time visited this beautiful garden and we were impressed by the tranquil atmosphere, variety of the plants and flowers, beautiful far reaching views we could enjoy when sitting on the bench. Absolutely must see if you visit Kent.
I wish I had taken more photos, but we enjoyed the beauty of the garden and forgot about anything else.
Good parking availability with easy access.
This garden is on our favourite list now.
Highly recommended for visiting if you love flowers.

Fantastic location for a yoga retreat. Everything was perfect. The teaching was great, the food delicious and the accommodation delightful. This was their first yoga retreat and it was organised brilliantly. Home made food, lots of attention to detail and lovely people ... both the hosts and the other yogis. I hope there are many more.

I was lucky enough to go on the Boldshaves yoga retreat, I had the most amazing weekend with a fantastic group of like-minded woman. The yoga was the perfect balance for beginners & yoga experts, to all get something from the incredible teacher. Lolly was fantastic and took the time to get to know us and help us with our yoga practice. Boldshaves itself is a beautiful setting with the main house being the perfect backdrop and a lovely comforting place to rest after lots of breathing and bending, with the most accommodating hosts. And lastly I have to mention the FOOD - wow - I never knew vegetarian food could taste so good. So delicious and tasted so good for us! It really was the best weekend and I will definitely be booking for the next yoga retreat!

Our history society visited Boldshaves Gardens yesterday afternoon and had a really enjoyable afternoon guided around the grounds by the owner, Peregrine, who was very genial, interesting and knowledgeable.
Beautiful gardens topped off with tea and cake, well worth the £8.50 entrance and tour cost.
Such a shame that the bad reviews the trolls have posted on here can't be deleted - come and make your own mind up - it's lovely!

What a fantastic weekend at Boldshaves for their first yoga retreat. The setting was perfect with all yoga session and meals taken in the beautiful barn. A very enthusiastic and inspirational teacher and lovely fellow yogis. Amazing homemade food and delicious local wine made the weekend just perfect. The accommodation in the beautiful Arts and Crafts house was delightful and very comfortable. A perfect weekend break. Looking forward to the next one!

Adorable quiet garden would visit again.

Came to Boldshaves for a Yoga Weekend. An amazing experience in a beautiful setting of the ancient barn - an excellent yoga teacher, thoroughly delicious food, a tour of the beautiful garden, a walk in the quiet ancient woodland, and a stay in the family home in an Arts and Crafts building. The experience could not have been better!

Came to the garden and barn yesterday for a funeral. The garden does not look at it's best but only due to our recent drought. The barn is absolutely beautiful and the food served was excellent, very tasty snacks.
It appears there are a large number of reviews on here all dated 3 months ago and all 1*. Some unknown idiot is obviously using various aliases and has got a problem with this garden, I can't imagine why.
Ignore these reviews, visit and make up your own mind!

What a fantastic visit to an incredibly passionate couple who have developed this garden from scratch over the past 28 years I think. The cakes are also all home made by the lady of the house and very morish.
Great visit and very reasonable.

A very beautiful garden, lovely company and a fantastic view. The literary festival in the summer (Wealden Literary Festival) is also well worth a visit!
