Parkdean Resorts Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth

Absolutely brilliant place for a holiday. We went camping here for 3 nights and it was so nice and peaceful. It's about 25min walk or a 10min drive from the sea front, so the perfect location. We loved it so much we've already booked up to go back again next year (in a static caravan this time) I'm sure we won't be disappointed. There's so much for the kids to do with a swimming pool, play areas and open spaces for games. They have an on-site restaurant, a laundrette, gift shop, mini mart, arcade games room and lots more. You can even rent buggies that you can pedal around the site, which is fun. Would recommend this place for a holiday for everyone to try. 100% a 5* holiday.

Just got back from a weeks stay. Must say we all had a great time. Our 4 year old loved the free milkshake mornings and had the best time at the activities we paid for (paw patrol and slime making). We enjoyed the evening entertainment and play areas on offer.

We took our two German shepherds to which all the stuff were so friendly about them being on the site. Would like to recommend an enclosed off lead dog area which a lot of dog owners seem to agree with would make the site even better.

All the staff friendly and caravan suitable for what we needed, site was very close to all activities for children which made the stay easy.

We will definitely be back :)

Before I left for my holiday I was quite worried after reading some of the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised, staid in blackbird static, everything was very clean, and even thou we were right beside the main road, it was very quiet still. Site its self was maintained well and facilities and staff were great. Food on site is a rip off, but we cooked for ourselves so it was all good. Kids aged between 1 and 14 all enjoyed their self’s.

Me and my family stayed here, Monday to Friday (4 nights), and we had a really great time here. We spent quite a lot of time on site, and really enjoyed it! The site was clean, and the staff are great. Our caravan was clean on arrival, and we were provided with leaflets about everything going on around the site, and bin bags. We went swimming on our first day, and I would advise booking in advance, as it was quite busy and we were worried we would be turned away. We weren’t (luckily!), and the pool was lovely! The water was warm, and the pool was clean. There is also 2 slides, one small one for smaller children, and a bigger one. The changing facilities and lockers were also clean.

We ate on site a few times, and we had the best takeaway from Thunderbirds! The chicken was amazing!! We ate in, and had a takeaway delivered to the caravan on separate occasions. The takeaway was the best! Not only did the delivery arrive the exact minute I ordered it for, all the food and drinks were actually delivered, and the food was hot! The chicken strips were absolutely delicious. They were crispy, moist, and had a lovely flavour. The staff were lovely, polite, friendly and kind in store, and the staff member who delivered our order.

I would not recommend Street Eats. We ordered food from here one night, and did not have a good experience. Being the only food place open past 9pm on site, we had no other choice but Street Eats. It was only 9:30pm (the restaurant is open until 11:30pm), but the staff were putting off customers, including us, to not order a burger, as they “come in frozen, and will take at least 20+ minutes”. We ordered 2 kids meals, 2 meals, and a portion of fries. After ordering, I was told that we would need to wait at least 20 minutes. (So I could have ordered a burger anyway?...) But that was fine. We headed back to the caravan, and I walked back 20 minutes later. They were busy, but I then waited another 20 minutes for the food. The lady working then joked that she forgot I was waiting, and bagged the food up that had been sat there for at least 15 minutes! I did mention that, and she just laughed it off. I asked her to double check the order, as after waiting nearly 45 minutes for everything, it would be a bit frustrating to get back to the caravan and have missing items. So she assured me everything was there. But no, unfortunately it wasn’t. After all of that, I was a bit frustrated, and hungry.

The entertainment is great. The staff and the crew on stage are great! Kids loved the dance floor, and the drinks aren’t too badly priced. Sometimes the table service can be slow, but they are super busy so that’s understandable.

Overall, we had an amazing time here. We would definitely stay again, and are already looking at booking again. :)

We've just got back from a 7 night stay here, first time here and first time staying at a parkdean and we were very pleasantly surprised. The caravan was lovely and clean with everything we needed. The park was great with plenty to do for our 7 year old, the entertainment was good and the staff in there were great with the kids. The pool was great and although we'd only managed to book a couple of sessions we still managed to swim on the other days, my son really enjoyed his session in the boats on the pool and the lifeguard who did it was great and played lots of games with them in the boats. All in all a great holiday that my son will never forget and will definitely use parkdean again. Thank you!

We stayed in one of apartments it was lovely and clean on arrival the pool was a nice temperature and plenty of room to swim changing rooms were clean. Great nights in the v lounge the kids loved the entertainment and staff were great and freindly.The kids loved the play area as its large and lots to do had a couple of meals the pizza bar is delicious and a good pricev

It was my first time experience in a caravan 🚐, spent 4 nights & 5 days in this gorgeous location.
Lucky enough to get a sunny weather in April in England🏠😆🇬🇧. The caravan was self-catered and totally felt like home away home! Recommended to all. Go and visit this destination atleast once in a lifetime❤🌿🌎🚙🚶‍♀🇬🇧.

One of the best park, what a great experience it was amazing, staff was very friendly, had some issue but they sorted out very quickly. The caravan we booked was spacious and setting room was very wide and nice, rooms are small though but very clean and tidy. Many activities for kids including swimming, cycling, music and stage and others activities. Very near to markets, as it nearby to Lidl and Asda. Only 7 minutes drive to Great Yarmouth beach. Recommend to everyone, prices are also reasonable.

We've just returned from a holiday at Vauxhall. The site has plenty to do for families although prices are a bit steep, especially the drinks and food. We just wanted to do a shout out to Rachel who works in the pool area who was absolutely amazing with our autistic teenage daughter when she was having a meltdown. She spent ages talking to her and calming her down and was nothing short of an angel. Please pass on our gratitude.

We had a wonderful 3 night break here. We stayed in a swan caravan which was lovely. Really clean and modern, had everything we needed.
The site was lovely and just a short drive to the beach front.
The site itself was well maintain and clean. Food and drink was all reasonably priced.
We would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at a few parkdean resorts over the past few years and I have to say this is probably my favourite!
Upon arrival, the caravan was in a good spot, the layout is well thought out and none of them seem too far away from the entertainment complex. The caravan itself was spotless, very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and even had a full size single bed.
The only thing I would say is that we were trying to use apps on the TV (BBC IPlayer etc) and it wouldn’t let me connect to the internet.
The park itself was very clean including the entertainment venues, outdoor play area, restaurant, arcades, swimming pool… We saw cleaners around the site all the time and people collecting glasses.
The staff there are AMAZING. Nothing felt too much trouble and I honestly can’t think of a place I’ve been where the staff have been this accommodating. Reception staff really helpful, bar staff really kind and helpful. The entertainment staff are excellent especially with the children and very talented. We watched a show on the Sunday night with the entertainment staff singing and dancing to songs from musicals and they were all excellent. Libby was a member of staff I would like to give a special mention to as she was absolutely brilliant. She went out of her way for me to comfort my child when she could see him having a tantrum, helped my mum to get a seat as she can’t stand for long, helped with another issue I had around the pool and showed me all the information I needed. She is an absolute credit to parkdean.
The entertainment and activities were fab, we attended a pool party which was so much fun! Staff really engaging and obviously love their jobs, we made squishies which was great for the money and my son loved it. Again, staff brilliant, and all of the facilities were great too.
We visited Great Yarmouth and the beach was lovely and we had a great time.

Really faultless holiday ⭐

This review is going to be about the restaurant exclusively. Honestly one of the best restaurants I have ever been in. I have autism, and I dislike my food touching each other on the plate and they listened to this and did everything they possibly could to cater to this. I am just soo thrilled to be able to experience this. Thank you very much

Great holiday park providing plenty of good accommodation, entertainment and facilities for families or couples. Very hard working, professional staff on hand to help you have a great holiday. Allow plenty of funds to eat onsite as restaurant, shops and takeaways are typically expensive.

Recently went camping here for 7 nights and honestly couldn’t complain about anything, the staff in the restaurant, arcades, shop and security were absolutely lovely, all the facilities were great I have 2 children and they had the best time. We ate out a lot and all the food was absolutely amazing and great value for money.

This is a great holiday venue. 😀
Plenty to do for all ages. Always the best acts on show. Plenty of food choice.
It's own bus into Yarmouth and not far from the train station either . Great staff, always willing to help 👍

Arrived Friday evening bit later than planned but staff at reception excellent. Stayed in skylark everything catered for we needed for the weekend. Met up with family in arena excellent entertainment staff . Shows were top class . Only have one complaint the bar staff although very apologetic took long time to get served. Tried ordering from app for table service. Even longer over an hour for drinks to arrive. Don’t offer this service if can’t cope. Staff walking around with trays of drinks not knowing table numbers etc . Otherwise great value and lots to do

Lovely caravan, very clean and all normal things you would expect very pleased, evening entertainment was good, they have 2 separate rooms one for children entertainment and one for adults lovely singers and bingo if you like bingo 🥴

Surprised how large the site is given there are several other parkdean resorts nearby, was very impressed with the accommodation, site and entertainment all very good. Food a tad expensive but what you'd expect for on site however was good quality. Choices between a pub style restaurant, take away fried chicken, pizza oven, ice cream and waffles, and a burger & hot dog stand. Pool very good size and various entertainment for the family, five minute drive from seafront.

The park has huge entertainment facilities and lots to do on site pools and adventure playground and arcade games room eatery but there so over priced for food.

The activities were a great opportunity to utilise the services the resort offered, they were fun, cheap and the beach is also only a 7min drive away so we utilised that too! Very affordable, great fun and we both enjoyed our stay very much!
