Asda Great Yarmouth

Amazing!Asda is a great size , lots of room,fantastic choice ,lovely staff ,very safe and clean.w'cs, large cafe - had a scrummy lunch before shopping 😋🍰☕🍕 electrical ,food ,fresh bread,pizza ,hot chicken & deli and new street food counter 😋photos,opticians chemist ,pet food, clothes,home essentials,phones,toiletries etc ,cash machines ,massive car park ,petrol station,car wash,drive thru Macdonalds & outdoor/indoor seating also 🍔🍟🍦overlooking beautiful Breydon Water and Bridge 🌊 next to Gt.Yarmouth train station with taxis/bikes and not far from the market place xxx

It's not my go-to supermarket due to where I live. But whenever I am there or had an experience there. It's always been good. It's the only place that does our specific dog food in 20kg bags. They were nice enough to keep it at customer service when I rang to see if they had it in stock. The BYO pizza booth is amazing in my opinion. 2 x 10" pizzas with 4 toppings on for £4.50 is an absolute steal. It's a shame I don't live closer.

I've been popping into this shop for a while now, the place looks clean and tidy, the aisles are quite roomy compared to some supermarkets I've been too.

The Store is signed well and items are easy to find, there seems to be plenty of staff on the shop floor in case you need help.

I went to the cafe during my last trip and ordered Pizza, the slices were huge, I had basically a half of pizza and only cost me the price of two slices, good value for money, the staff interaction was excellent.

Absolutely wham asda i wouldn't be surprised if people got lost in there. Great selection of products though wouldn't expect anything less from an asda.

Called in recently (23/10) to get some fuel, received the receipt and 2 dog biscuits for the dogs, your colleague Paul is a credit to your company.

We do a bit of shopping every year here on our holiday. Great staff as always. Last week we came and a staff member was reducing clothes to £1 or less! We picked up a lot. Found some great items. (Whi h helps a lot when you have 4 kids) Manged to get everything we wanted to. It was busy but we went through the tills quickly.

Oh also they didn't have the scan and go scanners working no idea why but that was a bit annoying although as stated we got through the tills quickly

This shop is huge and filled with just about everything you need grocery and clothing wise. Was very busy when we went, which I find a little unnerving. Nice clean shop with fully filled shelves

I used the Great Yarmouth store today and decided to use the scan and go for the first time . I had placed 7 or 8 items in my bag and the scanner froze😱. Approached a staff member who very kindly sorted it all for me by replacing the scanner and then rescanning my goods for me. The wheel on my trolley then decided to lock🤪 ( I had gone too close to the exit door). The lady very kindly also sorted that for me. I finally finished my shopping without further problems. Staff were kind, helpful and smiling the whole time and a credit to the company, I just wish I had noted their names ,but I felt such a Plonker didn't cross my mind .

Overall I have been frequently to the shop. Since a review I did here two years ago, the shop has had big change around. It took several visits to finally get an idea where everything was.
The staff are by far the most valuable asset this store has.. So many kind and thoughtful people that Walmart really should value FAR FAR more than this "parent company" does.
But let's keep this positive, despite long waiting times for some products to restock, it's still a pleasant environment to shop in and maybe some of the customers should appreciate that.

The biggest, best equipped and best kept Asda store I've ever seen. Amazing.

We are regular visitors to this Asda & I can't speak highly enough of Sandra and Brian on the pizza counter. They go above and beyond and provide excellent customer which keeps us coming back every week. We highly recommend the pizza counter to friends and family due to the great experience they provide. They both recognise us each week and we always leave happier than when we came in. They are a true credit to the store!

Asda has had a great make over in the last few months. Looks good and works very well. The new tills are all self service. Plus the pay as you go scanners are as you walk in so shopping can be very quick. This is disabled friendly so no worries about the toilets and getting about as its all on the doorstep. For people that need help as well. They have many more products in the stores. New free form food for celiacs and lactose intolerant. This is a good start for some shops think its a fashion not a illness. They have really taken this on as many foods are OK for every one. Be good it they did more for gluten free but it very hard. But they have been successful, by using xanthan gum products

Great shop and great location and very near to the train station. Great produce and always great prices

Nice McDonalds cheap easy convenient food with a drive thru and eat in options. Good location just off Acle New Road and well connected to the rest of Yarmouth.

Friendly efficient staff, good choice of food, not too big or too small. Most prices are cheaper than other supermarkets / retailers. Great selection of clothes, excellent quality and price.

I had great service food came on time coffee is lovely although I asked for a regular cup but filled it as a large oops but never over spilt all round very happy with the service that I had friendly staff keep it up guys by the looks of it you can’t satisfy everyone and the majority of the people that complain are the old ones hahaha it’s because they have nothing better to do lol but keep it up your doing a good job guys I will be definitely coming back

We had the dine in for £15 as our valentines meal. Great value and very tastey I would recommend this to everyone. We used to get the M&S deal but this is streets ahead of that.
LOVED IT.
