I stayed at this hotel by myself on 8th and 9th of Aug, the weekend with boiling weather, the bedroom was a comfortable temperature, a comfortable bed and I had a bath which for me is a bonus. The breakfast was very filling and delicious, the staff were great, there was a lovely friendly lady working at breakfast who made me feel very welcomed and comfortable as I was on my own. The hotel is within a few minutes walk to a beautiful part of the beach and there was a pool. You are given a key to the main entrance and bedroom, so I felt very safe here. I would stay again, great value for money. Thank you! Louise

Just stayed for 2 nights and couldn't have asked for more. OK, the hotel was just a base to sleep, shower and change but it had everything we needed, was nice, vlean and tidy and the staff were great. Breakfast was included and the seating of and cleaning of tables between guests was well organised and caused no issues at all. The full English was enough to set us up for the day and arrived promptly and hot. All in all I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area and need a base. I would definitely go back

Had a great stay here, we were out of season and at the time there was a small boiler issue which was being fixed at the time. We were offered a new room. Or the use of another for showering etc. Really accommodating, opened the bar for us even though we were one of 3 rooms staying at that time. Breakfast was as expected.

This is mine and my family’s second stay at Hotel Victoria this year.
Ali, the lovely lady - of whom I don’t know her name!! So sorry! (But I do know she was going to Portugal this month for a holiday, and all the staff at Hotel Victoria were just amazing each time we stayed there! They were so obliging, professional and were so helpful.
Both stays we arrived before check-in, and the staff said that we were welcome to use the pool and get drinks from the bar.
On our last visit which was only 3 weeks ago, I left my hair dryer, hair straighteners and a small first aid kit in a drawer in our hotel room. The hotel very promptly sent these items back to me.
The hotel has a lovely swimming pool which we enjoyed greatly on both stays.
Wonderful location.
An excellent hotel and we will book to stay here again in the future.

Thank you and kindest regards,
Karen Wyles

Great room, ours was spacious with plenty of storage and a great view over their pool, we managed to see into a few other rooms while the cleaners were preparing then for the next set of guests, they were good only a couple looked dingy with a poor view but we would still stay in it, after all for us is just a bed for the night we're out and about till bed time or in the hotel pool.

The pool is well kept, every night we seen a man go round it and fish out any bits left floating, leaves, flower petals ect. As well as topping up the chlorine once. Its very shallow one end ideal for kids, and good depth the other larger side 10-12ft deep maybe, enough to safely dive in.
There's a few blow up items, tyre hoops, beds ect for the kids, and adults ofcourse.

The bar/lounge sits next to the breakfast and diner area as one huge room, plenty of seating, we got told as we arrived their was live entertainment every night from local DJays, karaoke singer/entertainers ect. Some good some very bad lol, one was amazing had the misses and I in stitches all night.
We were on larger the whole time, becks on tap, £3 a pint (as of August 2016) which most bars around town are charging £3.70 so can't complain at all.

Breakfast included was good, bacon was little under done but that's just personal preference, Lincolnshire sausage and not some random cheap thing made up for it anyway, you come in grab some cereal or fruit a class of fresh orange, Apple, cranberry juice go sit down, get asked if you want tea or coffee you each get a pot with enough for two cups, there's toast, butter, jams put on the table once your done with cerial you get asked what cooked breakfast you want, full English, scrambled eggs ect. Which is a great way to start the day we didn't feel hungry till very late.
Dinner can be ordered at breakfast for additional cost £15 each, starter, main, for sure probaly desert as well we felt it was too much for a single set meal, so went out.

Parking is free on and around the hotel.

We will be back here, the location is great for a walk up and down the beach, set at the pleasure beach end, not much noise from the fairground and we didn't here much from the other guest's in there rooms, so that was perfect.
