I couldn't wait to share this little gem with you all – Colliers Wood Nature Reserve. It's become one of my go-to spots, and I just had to spread the word.

Walking through the trails with the kids or your loved one feels like stepping into a fairy tale. The tall trees create a natural canopy that dances with the sunlight, making it a perfect spot for family outings or a romantic stroll. 🌲🌞

There's something about this place that brings out the best in everyone. The kids can run freely, exploring the nooks and crannies, while couples can enjoy a peaceful moment by the tranquil ponds. 🦋💑

Beautiful and very quiet place for a walk or a jog. Family, kids and dogs friendly with a lovely pond filled with ducks and resided by a lovely heron. A few picnic tables available as well as lots of picturesque shady spaces.

1st time visit. (Discovered on way to Ikea!!)
Took the kids and dog. Car park is gravelled and clearly well maintained. There are signs at all entrance points showing the different walking routes available. Am unsure if accessible for wheelchair users due to the style of the gates at the exit points. (Kissing gates)
Paths are gravelled and well kept.
We did a mix of both routes to see everything in the reserve. There are lots of seats located throughout the reserve and lots of picnic benches available too.
We saw lots of wild birds, herons, ducks and swans etc.
Whilst there we saw little to no litter or dog waste. Bins are located throughout the routes.
The reserve itself is not that big but a nice place to walk the dog and enjoy the wildlife. We found bird feeders located on the walking routes and was able to watch birds feeding. Overall, very impressed. (Annoyed that we didnt find this sooner!!)
This will become a regular walk for us in the future. 🙃

Collier s Wood ,is a great place to take family an pets , plenty of space to let dogs of lead . Kids can feed the ducks,take a flask and snack find a seat an chill .Car parking free . Visit an day open all year .

Always lovely to come here to feed the ducks, although disappointing to see people using bread still. Please remember, bread can be detrimental to wild fowl as it fills their stomachs but has no nutritional value. Try to opt for wild bird seed or fat balls instead.

The park is a fair size and in places surrounded by woodland, which gives a wonderful feeling of being surrounded by nature. There are a lot of instances of dog poop being left behind so watch where you step. A great place to come for a walk while also observing social distancing, as there is ample space.

Great place for a walk, it had all ages and abilities of people walking around or just sat taking in the atmosphere from the place.

Never been before,it was a short walk around expected it to be a bit bigger.but I was a nice walk anyways.

Really pretty Nature Reserve. Good paths, plenty of rubbish bins and seats & tables to use for eating. Nice to walk around with some good views, lots of wildlife on the lakes to be seen. It ideal for using as a place for short dog walks. Has a free car park for parking.

Met my friend here and we walked our dogs, it's almost a figure 8 walk, and a small pond with ducks, nice and peaceful, some benches dotted around if you fancy a little rest too.

Lovely place to take the kids and dogs for a short walk.

Always have a good walk around with our dogs. Really nice to see swans a heron and geese with goslings on the pond, and always plenty of ducks.

A lovely walk that changes through the seasons. I used to take my dog there daily, and after a break of a few years have begun to take my children weekly to see the wildlife and ride their bikes. Would recommend for those who want a short walk with nice pathways. Be aware although there are no on site facilities other than a car park there is a nearby garden centre with a cafe and toilets.

Loads of ducks for feeding on the lake plenty of room to throw the ball for the dog and enough shade to relax in on hot days parking is free which is a bonus aswell, recently they have had a few carvings done on tree stumps that are beautifully done

Small car park but you can park on the road although it is busy with lorry’s going up and down. lovely walk with lots of wildlife to enjoy. You can also head of to Moorgreen reservoir from here to extend the walk if you wanted to or nip into Reuben Shaws garden centre which is dog friendly. Don’t forgot your duck food.

A bit of peace and quiet away from the bustling town centre of Eastwood. Lovely walk as it is fairly flat so great with pushchairs and wheelchairs. They hold buggy walks for new mums and babies. During the summer they have outdoor cinema and concert. They also hold 5k races and triathlon events. Good parking. Well maintained remember to pick up your litter and dog muck please.
