Great place to get your bits and bods for DIY or tools. Steve and his family are always helpful and it's usually cheaper than B&Q. I have been going there for over 20 Years.

After visiting all the major DIY stores in an around Nottingham for an item I needed, I stumbled across Carlton DIY, Steve was really helpful and within two days he had got me what I needed, he was so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, extremely polite and the customer service that this shop provides is a rarity these days.
The shop is a 30 minute car journey, but I will gladly do this in the future when I need other things.

This shop has never let me down, It's a Aladdin cave and very well laid out, Service staff are very helpful and knowledgable with very good advice for the DIYer 10/10.

Went looking for aome additional curtain hooks for my son a house, asked chap on the till if he stocked them as seemed an odd size having looked elsewhere. Without question he said yes and took me to them couldn't have been more helpful. Great shop will use again thanks.

Previous to visiting Carlton Hardware Ltd, I had been to B&Q, toolstation, and screwfix, and no one could help with what I was looking for, so I didn't hold out any hope as you can imagine.
The gentleman smiled and asked me the type I needed. He knew exactly what I was talking about, out he popped into a magical back room and returned with a diaphragm! He totally saved the day for me and also got a lovely sturdy gate lock. Very reasonable prices and great customer service! Thank you again so much!

Old fashioned DIY shop, staffed by people who know what they're business. Can get you pretty much anything you need, and compete price wise with the big boys.

Carlton Hardware is an absolute treasure trove! I recently ordered some door handles that arrived the following day for collection. Also excellent customer service, what more could you want! 😊

1. Friendliness
2. Helpful, if they ain't got it they will get it.
3. Its a gold mind for all the tools set out like Arkwrights corner shop. From nuts and bolts to blades to a full shower set up.
4. How shops used to be and how they should be.
5. They will do there best to help you out with good advice on all sources of maintenence or a new build. Don't believe me go in and try for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

This hardware store is great, they stock so many useful items. In fact they stock so much it is always worth asking for what you need, as they may have it in the stock room.

They're also very knowledgeable about their products and the ways in which they should be used.

I may live nearby, but I know I'd choose to travel past other DIY stores to get here, if I ever move away.

Great customer service, if they haven't got something in they will order it in. They do delivery, good prices. Always polite and helpful, I cant fault them. I will miss this shop when I move.

We used to live around the corner, so shopped here for all of our DIY needs. We moved house and paid others to do the DIY. We are now back to doing it ourselves and this shop has everything we need. Got fed up of trips to large chain DIY stores that did not have what we actually wanted. This place is less expensive and has everything! Yes- really!
