Clogwyn Station, Snowdon Mountain Railway

Great service. Very informative staff. Beautiful views. Will use this service again. Loved it.

Another thing to cross off my bucket list although would also like to walk it we took the train on this occasion.
Weather was good so we had lovely views. Could only go three-quarters of the way up due to season but still stunning.
Only disappointment was trying to find somewhere for lunch after

The scenery is absolutely stunning, even if the summit is closed (we only went to the 1st stop). Our Guard was great, full of information (who knew one of the original engines rolled off the track and fell into the valley below (in about 1893)).

Although I wasn't able able to get to the summit and the train was rather expensive costing £160 for a family of four it was well worth it for the view.

Nothing there as expected.
Spectacular views all round.
You get plenty of time to take it all in.

Decided to be lazy and take the train up Snowden, it cost £32 a person return pre booked, and £5 to park, we had amazing weather which added to the experience, great views.

Brilliant views from Clogwyn, the ride up is the perfect way to see everything around you, just a shame that you can't go all the way up at the moment.

Great morning on the train, met some interesting people on way up. Would recommend commentary on train as lots of history over 100 years of train journeys and amazing views from Clogwyn of Anglesey and Wales. Superb

The station is at 775m and at the time we went up the rails onwards to the top were being repaired. The train stops just above the Llanberis path and has great views. We were just below the cloud which was forecast in the Met Web page as being at 800m for most of the time we were there.

The train waits for the 30m stop so if the weather changes then you have some shelter.

Check the mountain forecast ahead so you know how to dress. It. An be cold there even on a sunny day.

Such a lovely little station. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. We'll worth the visit.

Great train ride and fantastic views, just a shame you can't get to the top due to covid.

Great experience- traveled three times. Best time probably is midday, because can be foggy in the mornings. Didn't see anything first time when took a train at 9am. Next two times we travelled at midday, so the views were amazing. The disappointment that they are not taking you all the way up to the top of Snowdon last two years, so check carefully before travelling. To climb last bit to the top you need to be physically stronger than average. Better pre-book tockets in advance for summer, because they can be sold out. Definitely will be coming back again when they will start taking you up all the way up again.

Nice place but at the covid moment it's as high the train will go

It's a nice experience, because of the covid this is the last stop of the mountain train will get 30 minutes to spend and need to come back on the same train.... great experience need try everybody will enjoy

Please note there is nothing here, toilet or shop it's just a stopping point on the route to the mountain top approx 1 hours walking from here .

Well organised.
Looks of tables to eat own food or from kiosk. Trains on time.

CV19 well adhered to good experience but ride is a bit slow. I'm glad I don't drive the train
