Friendly staff, great food, decent size rooms, good beer, a short drive to the beach and close enough to the hills for an awesome day out. Reasonable price too. It's our second visit

Really nice stay at the kellbank. Dog friendly. Nice comfortable rooms. No animal smell anywhere. Very well kept establishment....
Food was really good at the bar....if you're bringing you fury friend then you'll only be allowed in the bar area with it....
The bar is great though......
Breakfast was great too.
All in all a great visit.
We loved our stay in between Christmas and New year. 5 star 🌟.......

Absolutely lovely place to stay, specially if you just want a chilled weekend as we did. Can't fault the food served. All cooked to perfection. We will definitely go back for another chilled weekend 5⭐ isn't enough!

The room was really spacious, ultra clean- had access to big tv screen, hair dryer, fridge. Bathroom was spacious and lights on the mirror were spot on. Amazing staff- really helpful people. Overall happy with the experience. Thank you Kellbank team.

Rooms are good only negative thing was the door rattled though the night number 11 from people closing doors in the night. very friendly staff food was lovely. Location was perfect for us for scafell Pike. Kind regards John and jade from South Wales 🏴??????

On holiday locally and came across this beauty. Very welcoming of our big dog , food out of this world. Very lovely place. Would highly recommend and will definitely return

I am really glad to say that I enjoyed my stay at Kellbank. They have nice rooms , nice bar , good restaurant and tasty food. The room I stayed in was a little bit small but it was clean and tidy. They don't charge you for your dog and you have breakfast included ( it is not a buffet ) . For dinner we ordered in the restaurant and the food was tasty and the prices were decent. From here you can go by car to the most beautiful lake I have ever seen with a 15 min drive. The staff is very lovely and polite.

Great place to stay before hiking Scafell which was 25min drive away. Food was great and portain sizes were fantastic also veggie options. Found it easy to leave early by popping key in box no need to see anyone. Check in was easy also hotel clean and staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again if need to.

Stayed here the night before the Coast to Coast Bike twice 2022 and 2023 and each time been very impressed.

First time We booked a family room for ourselves and my Dad / dog who were our support.
They're very dog friendly and do early breakfast for people doing the Coast to Coast Bike Ride. The room was very clean, goof storage and lovely bathroom.

This year stayed 2 nights with hubby for Coast to Coast Bike Ride and again superb service, food great in evening and great breakfast before the Coast to Coast.

We have already booked for 2024

Large portions, good selection of dishes, friendly staff and good value!
Also very dog friendly which was excellent!
