Me, the Mrs and dog came here for a long weekend getaway, I cant recommend enough, John really looked after us and made us feel welcome. Rooms where very clean and the location is perfectly between the beach and scarfell pike.
Very dog friendly 10/10

Clean rooms, comfy bed, powerful shower, cheap price per night. The rooms are a bit outdated but for this price I've got to say we weren't surprised. The lady who checked us in/served drinks was really nice and when she found out that we have fully grown German Shepherd with us she looked for the biggest room she could find for us (but then realised we were already staying in the biggest one room 5) which was really kind of her! Free parking literally 30 seconds walk or they have 2 spaces outside of hotel. Overall we have enjoyed our stay!

Absolute hole of a pub, no atmosphere, rooms are terrible, don't stay in rm 3, mattress lumpy and needs replacing, bathroom has dump issues and their a motor running making a racket.

Great hotel at a great price, can park at the village car park which is free. Comfy beds, nice rooms, great location near wasdale

Beautiful rooms! Spotless, good amenities, comfy bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking. Would definitely stay here again

Loved our stay at the Globe Inn. Great little pub with cheap beer and good service. The room was tidy and clean, powerful hot shower.

Bargain place which bends over backwards to assist and give service. Price is bargain bucket so don't have high expectations. Does exactly what it says on the tin and friendly enough

A cosy original Lakeland pub where you and your dog receive a warm welcome not only from the staff but also a roaring log fire.
