Sew & Sew Haberdashery

I adore this gem of a haberdashery! Fabulous stock of yarn, ribbons, buttons, fabric and knowledge from James and his team.
I’ve been a customer of this shop for many years- since it opened I believe. What has really impressed me is the regular new addition of stock and how there always seems to be new additions to what they offer. I love the willingness to help and the friendliness of staff.
It is handy to have this wonderful shop near where we live.
If you haven’t visited yet, you love sewing, crochet, knitting etc I recommend you do!

I have only really used the shop for wool, patterns and buttons etc but always found the selection available to be excellent. The store is a treasure trove for anyone who sews or knits.

A well stocked fabric and accessories store.
I had some sewing done - hemming, and now mending a badly torn leather jacket.
I'm just amazed at how well it's been done.
I can only be pleased, it's 5 stars 🌟 from me, absolutely!

I walked in without any notice and the man behind the counter was so helpful. I had two pairs of curtains that I needed taking down and not having any knowledge of upholstery/ sewing etc I had no idea what I needed. They took my curtains no problem made the adjustments and I got a call the very next day to say that they were ready for collection! Great service and so quick! Thank you :)

I spend too.much there on wool or fabric as its a treasure trove. Love it.

Wonderful Aladdin’s cave of all things crafty! Wool yarn, sewing, dressmaking, fabrics, threads, quilting batting, toy stuffing, buttons, fat quarters and so much more. The nicest staff you would hope to meet. Always have what I’m looking for. Always a happy visit. Highly recommended.

Amazing service! I always buy my wool here, but today of course I couldn't! I phoned, I ordered, I paid and the wool was delivered to me .... all within approximately 30 minutes. No internet required, no national delivery van, just a friendly helpful voice at the end a 'telephone' and a lovely gentleman delivering! The old ways still work. Thank you so much, Sew and Sew. I'll be back either in person or virtually, if I still have to!

Amazing selection of yarn here - way better than Hobbycraft, and even some of the more popular online wool shops! If only this shop was at the end of my road... I would definitely come out of my way to shop here again!

It's a geat, family-run business which has been desperately needed in Uckfield, especially since Woolworths closed.
At last I can buy small things like a needle threader, as well as material & books.
They have a wide selection which is growing all the time.
