Staff are so helpful, always pleased to help. I didn't end up buying what I went in for, but had a chance to look at options and have a think.

Good shopping environment. Lots of household items. Gardening bits & fishing equipment. Recycling tubs aswell.

I've been using Green DIY for about 30 years now. I prefer it over the B&Q/Homebase experience in that it bridges the gap between an old style ironmongers and the big DIY stores. Only need a couple of screws or whatever? They will sell what you need by weight so no need to buy bulk packs of screws etc that leave you with odd boxes of stuff you'll never use. There is still everything you need if you have a bigger project. Better still, you can say "I'm just nipping out to get some bits to finish 'that job'.." and then spend your time browsing the fishing tackle instead 😂

Great DIY general store. Sells a wide variety of goods and single ironmongery items by weight. Friendly staff. Makes a pleasant change to support a good local business in the absence of the big chain stores. Convenient and recommended

Went there this morning for a few bits. Staff are always very helpful & polite.

Always helpful. They have a 10% for over 60s every Tues Wednesday and Thursday! If they had a small cafe on site they'd be a great place to go with garden loving friends.

Literally one of my favourite places. They always have everything you want - and you can go and buy one screw if you like, to solve that awkward problem. Local Hardware stores like this are so important and so much better that the big chain stores.

The best bit about Green DIY is that if you only want one nut / washer / screw / knob / hinge, then you need only buy the one. It's got a good range of stuff given that it's not a super-large store like the big boys. Helpful staff. Have been here many many times over the last 20 years.

A very good independent DIY store. Has a good range of products and a bit of everything. Sells loose screws, nails etc by weight! Good range of power tools.

Knowledgeable helpful staff. Fantastic store with a bit of everything, you can buy one nut and bolt if that's all you need. It's what DIY stores were like before the big names dominated the market.

A small unit but everything you need from home to garden and beyond, this place looks tiny but wow was pleasantly surprised, everything under one roof but best of all, staff smiles and extremely helpful....

Great place very helpful and friendly staff they stock all most everything DIY every time I have been there I have found what I needed and they do seniors discount on week days.

Excellent, friendly helpful service. Went in yesterday afternoon but the garden paint I wanted was out of stock, they ordered it for me & I went in this morning to get it.
Will continue to use our local DIY store.

Genuinely helpful assistants, a huge range of DIY and household things, and they will even skillfully cut wood to size for you - brilliant - thank you.

Lovely,delightful hardware and ironmongers store .They can certainly compete with bigger stores in town.Its always worth a visit especially if you're on a quest to find something in particular .When you've tried the bigger stores with no success,the odds are you'll find it here.Well done Greens
