The Lakes at Stambridge

Food was fabulous - comparable to a restaurant dining experience. The only issue that prevents a full 5 star all round was that after being seated we weren't given menus straight away. Otherwise everything was top-notch. Definitely book in advance though. In the summertime I recommend dining on the terrace overlooking the lake.

Gem of a place for breakfast. Everything cooked to perfection with a wonderful view over the lakes, listening to all the wildlife.
I must say also everyone working hard whilst looking happy. Doing so many things right !!!

Really lovely place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. We sat on the veranda over looking the very well kept lake.
Service was efficient and quick.
The prices are definitely sporting!

Nice breakfasts and lunches with a stunning view of the lake. Outdoor deck is great in the summer, very peaceful.

They are opening a bar so will soon serve alcoholic drinks which will be nice for an afternoon by the lake.

Friendly helpful staff.

They don't have a dedicated kids menu but are very accommodating and do smaller versions of any of the meals.

Great tasting food friendly staff & great views over the lake, you can even sit outside in good weather.
Would suggest booking as it does get busy.

A lovely little establishment. We visited at midday for a lunchtime snack. The staff were great, the food was amazing and the process were really competitive given its relatively 'remote' location.
Well worth a visit. We went on a wet October day but this is undoubtedly a jewel in the summer.

You've got to try the homemade burgers here absolutely delicious it's like a Michelin star restaurant superb food with super views highly recommended.

Had a lovely Sunday roast. The only thing that would make it more enjoyable would be to do something about the entrance doors, we were sat next to them, everytime they opened we got a draught which on a chilly day wasn't very comfortable!

Our first time at The Lakes and will certainly not be our last. Met up with friends for a pre Christmas lunch. Very busy so understand the need to book though we were served speedily. Food was excellent and filling. I had their home made lasagne which was extremely tasty. Cosy environment and look forward to revisiting when weather better so can sit on veranda overlooking lake.

This place serves the best quality breakfast in the area. All fresh, so well presented, with a lovely view of the fishing lake. You won't be disappointed!

Really nice food and staff!
6 of us enjoyed a lunch break here, I had a chicken burger and Victoria Sponge, and others had cake too. Tea and coffee was also very nice.

Been here twice now , a private function (great night )and for breakfast today . Really nice atmosphere and lovely setting over the lake . We hadn't booked for breakfast but they accommodated us and we're very helpful.

A very popular place with seating both inside and out, nice views over the fishing lakes. Chancey to just turn up best to book.

Lovely atmosphere, superb food, and excellent friendly staff. This was our first visit, and we are already planning our next one.

Had a fantastic ploughman's lunch, but other food we saw looked good too. Friendly service and lovely views 👌

Lovely food, great staff, but the place is cold and very noisy, maybe the room is hollow but even the coffee machine sounds very loud.

Arrived Sunday lunch time just to check the place out as had read very good reviews. Thought we would just get a drink and move on. After speaking to the staff was told we could have a table for two out on the deck with our dog. Lovely view great food and very helpful staff. Will go again.
