The Smugglers Beach Bar & Kitchen

Not a bad little pub, one of two pubs in the village. There is a pool table here. Menu see attached images. Indoor seating. Clean toilets. Friendly staff. Quite a modern feel to this pub and seems to have opened/refurbished recently. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Called in on a quiet and cold Thursday to receive the warmest of welcomes! And this was not just from the log burner!
Had a cream tea, which included the best scone ever! The lady who served me was absolutely lovely, even fetching some water for my dog! Sorry, I forgot to mention that The Smugglers is doggie friendly!
There is car parking nearby, and thoughtfully, a ramp has been built to the main door for easy access.
The bar area is beautifully decorated and includes lots of interesting items of local history. I sat in an alcove to the front of the building, which had a photograph of the wreck of the Prince Ivanhoe. Everywhere was clean and tidy.
I'll be back soon for a hot meal because I've read the comment made by others!
Thoroughly recommended.

Had an amazing meal with my Husband the homemade lasagne was outstanding. Freya was our waitress and she was lovely, so friendly and hard working, my only criticism was I ordered a burger but 20 minutes later we were told they were sold out so the communication between kitchen and front of house needs to be better but that did not ruin our visit, looking forward to coming back next week. Great choice and homemade food

Love it here even on a wet windy day it was still my go to place with my grandchildren and son. Such a relaxed atmosphere and food is lovely. Fish and chips and scampi and chips for the boys. Very reasonably priced.

Visited the restaurant on a quiet Thursday evening, and the service was superb! Welcomed and allowed to find a seat.

The fish, you can definitely tell the quality of it, and the batter used for it had a brilliant flavour. I can imagine the atmosphere would be even better sat outside during the summer overlooking the water.

Fantastic experience overall and would highly recommend to anyone visiting!

Super great experience here. The halloumi starter, fish curry main dish, and the sticky toffee pudding dessert were all excellent. Our server was also super nice and attentive.

Great tasting, good value food, lovely cheery staff, cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Ate here 3 times in 4 days! Highly recommended

Food was so good we ordered another meal for dessert! The lamb burger was delish, maybe putting the salad on the side would have made eating the burger easier. Despite this, top notch, well priced and super friendly service

Absolutely fantastic food,service and location. Had a delightful three course meal. Nachos were hot all the way to the bottom and crunchy! Philly Steak was really good and the bread particularly was very nice. Chickpea Masala was soo tasty and fresh. Couldn't recommend any higher spacious and very covid conscious.. Will be back!!

Car park nearby, excellent view,Beach nearby for nice walks, excellent quality of food and very friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and pretty deco inside. Spending average 10.00 on mains there is also a selection of small bites and desert on the menu. family friendly and also seating outside on the sunny days.

We ordered meals to collect and take away for the second time from this restaurant and again it didn't disappoint ! Beautiful chickpea curry & chicken tikka , with proper chips! 😋 delightful pub with a gorgeous fire roaring, right on the beachfront. We are staying at skysea campsite and it's right opposite just a few minutes walk to collect :) we will be back ! Xx

Great food and service for a reasonable price. I had the fish and chips, and the cockle popcorn. Both were great, especially the fish batter with Gower ale and laverbread.

What a lovely gem of a place. I had the Lamb burger, honestly, the best I've had in a long time. The service team were so friendly and kind. We had a fabulous evening. Only downside, the baked vanilla cheesecake was so good, the husband ate more than the little taste he was going to have.

10/10 amazing food and a cozy bar atmosphere. All their food is fresh, homemade, and delicious beyond compare! Absolutely stop by for a drink and meal if you are in the area

Feels absolutley lovely inside, so asthetic, everything on the menu is nice, but one thing, one thing stands among the crowd, i think it's called the gower pizza, cockles, laverbread lots of other stuff and an egg in the middle, has brought family's together, saved marieges, performed miracles, honestly equal to pepinos pizza gorseinon it is so lovely

Incredibly friendly and delightful restaurant situated in Port Eynon. The most fabulous Rib Eye Steak you will ever have. A must visit.

Delicious food and friendly, helpful service.
Cater for vegans as well as omnivores.
Clean bright and cheerful environment.
Would definitely recommend and if I'm near to Port Eynon again I would make a detour to eat there!

We stopped by for drinks yesterday- plenty of outdoor seating with parasols for shade (if you need it). The bar man was really honest and came out with some change as we’d been overcharged by a small amount- really appreciated that! Can definitely recommend stopping by for a drink!

Warm welcome by the staff. Nice food menu with a bar if you feel the need for alcohol lol.
