The View Rhossili Kitchen, Cafe and Bar

Perfect! We visited today after a walk along the coast path/beach. Greeted by a lovely guy who explained the menu..brought a sample of Gower Gold and made us feel welcome with our little girl and dog. The views here are perfect! The food was delicious we both had fish and chips huge portions and great value for money! Kids currently eat here for £2.99 during the summer holidays! Amazing! Cannot wait to return and try some of the 'small plates' and loaded Korean fries!

Delicious food, lovely staff and owners and incredible views! We had the small plates which were fab. Excellent drink selection too including local gins, ciders and beers. Now one of my favourite spots in South Wales. Dog friendly with plenty of water bowls, doggy ice cream. We will be back!

Was not expecting much as it's in a prime tourist target area so imagined it would be a conveyor belt, fast in fast out type cafe. However I was surprised when the food proved much better than expected. We had a selection of small plates and all were very tasty and nicely seasoned. Beer available as well as soft drinks. To top it off, the view looks over Rhossili beach. Beautiful

Lovely little place with a superb view. My partner and I had the Full Welsh Breakfast and the equivalent vegan version. The Full Welsh Breakfast was a rather fancy version of the classic and the Vegan version felt quite creative. A bit pricey for a breakfast but it was very tasty so I would say it was worth it.

The food was stunning, little pricey but lovely! Location is obviously a sight for sore eyes, and the staff were great. You can tell Chris loves his job as a waiter, interacting with everyone, and he definitely didn't give us a bowl of free chips after seeing one of our group scoff their meal down instantly (just in case his wife is reading, definitely didn't happen)👀😂

This is a fantastic cafe in an incredible location.
We visited on a sunny Sunday in August, needless to say it was rammed.
I had to queue to order my food and despite being busy the tables were clear, the staff were all friendly and calm and happy to help despite being rushed off their feet.
Our food came out in good time and everything ordered for our table of seven was freshly cooked and delicious.
My top recommendation would be the Korean chicken, a tasty and generous portion at great value
The views, food, staff, cleanliness, toilets were all spot on. I hope I get chance to go back before heading home from our holiday

Visited today and it was great. Menu was great, lots of selection and good prices. Chose the small dishes - really impressed. Would recommend the arancini balls (delicious!). Outside seating area was great and seemed to be updated. Would definitely visit again!

It’s called the The View Cafe and it does what it says on the tin. There’s a garden out back with picnic tables and one of the best views in the UK out across Rhossili bay. I went for the full English which was good quality.

Dogs allowed inside. This is a winning place to eat, drink & take in the views. Service great, food brilliant. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Coming back tomorrow for more lunch 😋.

Lunch did not disappoint. Sat on terrace today in the sun, enjoying a lovely pint of Gower Gold and a dish of Korean loaded fries. Might have to come back again tomorrow to try something else.

5 out of 6 days of lunches spent here this week. Think we tried nearly everything on the menu. Great place, highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back next year

We visited the View for lunch after a climb up from the Rhossili beach. The staff were very accommodating even though the restaurant was almost full.
We ordered the chips and drinks for initial snack as we waited for our food.
For mains we ordered the 3 for £20 sides wherein we chose the Arancini, cockles, Korean BBQ chicken. We also ordered the famous Buddha bowl salad and Spaghetti with cheese.
The food was absolutely delish. The plating was beautiful and the view outside was spectacular.
The place is aptly named and would definitely recommend everyone to visit the place when visiting the Rhossili Bay.

What an amazing location and venue which is matched with its exemplary service. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty by staff that couldn’t do enough for us. They welcomed our dog, our children and our grandparents in their 90s! Nothing was too much trouble. The views are spectacular and the food equally so. Extremely good value and a menu for everyone. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for providing us with memories that will last for years to come.

Lots of "modern" healthy options alongside all the hearty favourites. Coffee is ok, limited cake selection, takeaway ice-cream served from the front of the premises. A great selection of alcoholic beverages, including a few local drinks on tap.

It gets very busy in high season, the staff work hard to keep things flowing, but you may have to queue to order and wait a while. Accept it, and enjoy the view while you do :-) A place this beautiful has to be shared. Indoor seating is limited, with a large outdoor terrace.

Growing up it was a family tradition to visit regularly, it was Thomas' Tea Rooms then. The current owners focus is on excellent quality food, promoting community spirit & supporting local arts / musicians etc. The vibe is very different, but we have kept the family tradition going. Our thanks to The View.

Faultless from start to finish. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food delicious especially the homemade brownie. Really reasonably priced. Don’t go anywhere else whilst in rhosilli bay as this little spot is perfect

Lovely place opposite NT car park. Staff were so helpful to a lone parent with toddler and dog! Coffee and cake were lovely and uninterrupted view of Rhossili Beach from the terrace.

Lovely cafe, brilliant food.
My loaded fries were great. My wife fish and chips was apparently perfect. Even heard another patron saying the flat white was magical.
Heartily recommend just for the food, but add to that some spectacular views, lovely staff, and it's dog friendly to boot.

This landmark venue, with the perfect view of Rhossili / Llangenith beach, is under new management with loads of investment and improvements of both the facilities and menu.
Recently, they've provided WiFi (👍 from me) albeit a little intermittently, in my opinion a great step forward, making this the perfect place to plan your day over breakfast, or to plan tomorrow's excursion during afternoon tea.

We visited The View for the first time yesterday, but definitely not last.
We've had there the best meal in Wales so far. Fantastic food , friendly staff.

Also dog friendly inside and out.

A cracking place to come and enjoy this amazing location and view. The owner Chris is very passionate about this place and spent time chatting to us about it. Very hospitable and has a lot of good ideas to keep this place going. The food is all freshly prepared and very tasty. I brought my mum here who is 76 so couldn't do all the walking there is on offer but we still had a lovely time here and taking in all the views. Thanks Chris and team.
