Came for tea and it was fish and chip friday! Excellent value nice size fish and hot!! Had choice of garden or mushy peas, I chose none. Had with a disbury gin! Lovely pub with all the photos from meccano and the Hornby family!! Food still good and have good meals of the day on!! One of the better spoons I have been too.

Food can be a bit hit & miss, sometimes it's very nice but other times not so good, not very hot - get's order wrong etc
Service - could do with few more staff, sometimes there's actually no-one behind the bar serving !!
Atmosphere is a personal thing and the place is a bit light & airy for me.

Called in for breakfast muffin and coffee. Plenty of clean tables and food was served very quickly.
Staff always very helpful.only scored low on atmosphere as quite empty due to early visit.

Stopped of there for a quick drink, rounded the day off perfectly.
One of the better Weatherspoons we,ve been to.
So much so that we are making a point of going back there in the very near future for something to eat and a drink.
We are looking forward to it.
The staff member who served us was knowledge able on the ales which they had in and extremely friendly.
Again definitely one of the better spoons in every respect.
The food that we had seen being served looked spot on.
Plus there was a fir few people eating there.
It just looked a really nice place.
Well worth a visit!

This spoons was my 300th I have visited since I started. Went with my usual friend whose son and wife met with us to have a small celebration. We had our tea in here which was excellent and had a good selection of beers including one of my favourite beers,Wobbly Bob.

Had the small cod and chips. More than enough, non greasy batter and crunchy chips. Lovely.

Nice to have Breakfast with all the family. Arrived quite early around 10.15am but did start to get busy soon after. Eggs benedict very nice, with runny yolks in both eggs. English Breakfast is good also. Good service. Coffee was my only issue. A bit strong for a latte and a bit bland taste coming from a vending machine. Nice atmosphere and lots of history decorating the Weatherspoon's.

love stopping at Frank Hornby for a drink and some food, well decorated and a friendly family atmosphere, food it's always tasty and warm, we normally order the 3 small plates for sharing with some nice long drinks, good value.

Great selection of beers and damn good price too - 2 drinks for less than a fiver :) we just had drinks but the food looked delicious and smelled very tempting.
Return visit on 9th Feb for dinner with the kids - food was definitely delicious and very good prices too - and still 2 alcoholic drinks (pint of beer and large glass of wine) for under a fiver. Love this place :)

Absolutely spot on food it's cheap cheerful and full of friendly faces only downside is the car park is a bit small and no parent child bays. Oh and like all wetherspoons the toilets are practically on the roof.
