Abbey Farm Rhuddlan - Touring and Glamping North Wales

We returned to Abbey Farm again last week to another fantastic warm welcome. Thank you Celia. We had another lovely week. Plan to come back again next year. As a repeat visit, I would still highly recommend Abbey Farm
We arrived to a very friendly welcome. The pod was exactly what we needed for our stay, clean and had a lovely view. Our host was very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend Abbey Farm and we will definitely be going back.

Recently stayed at abbey farm for my dad's 60th with lots of family and friends. We all loved every minute of it. We have Memories that will last forever. Perfect location, gorgeous views. Very clean, just perfect for what we want. We camped in tents,some stayed in the pods which are absolutely beautiful. And some of us in tourer caravans. We couldn't have asked for a better space for us all. Cant wait to go back!

Gorgeous little site. Booked on the day for a last minute night away. Site is peaceful, staff are very accommodating. Dropped a fir pit at our pitch with wood within minutes of arriving. Very friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers are lovely and clean. Will definitely be back.

I don't know where to start. The whole experience was second to none. Celia was an incredible host, who is extremely attentive to your wants and needs and is there in a flash should you need any help. We stayed in Stella's snug which was immaculate with everything you could need, attention to detail at its finest. The bed was like sleeping in the clouds, the best night's sleep I've had in years! The Swedish hot bath completely outweighed a hot tub and again Celia would have it ready for you to dip straight into on your arrival with a bottle of prosecco to enjoy and a cute little surprise of homemade treats in the fridge. 😋
I think our highlight though was being pleasantly greeted every morning by the family pup. 🥰🐶

Honestly Abbey Farm was the most beautiful, clean, tranquil campsite I've ever been to. It was exactly what we needed to escape the rat race and I'll definitely look forward to going again soon.

Beautiful site in the heart of Rhuddlan. We took our touring caravan & our friends pitched their tent. Celia gave us pitches together. She is a fantastic host & ensures all is ok whilst you’re staying. Great shower/toilet facilities. This is our second visit & we can’t wait to go back.

Great stay at Abbey Farm Campsite. Toilets and showers exceptionally clean. A short walk to Rhuddlan where we explored the Castle and had dinner. Enjoyed meeting the Alpaca neighbours! 😁

Wow what a lovely quiet little campsite with great links to costal towns to explore. We enjoyed our visit, although weather conditions cut us short but that's British summer for you!

Celia was very accommodating to our personal needs and allowed us to reserve a particular pitch that gave us a little more space for a wind breaker secure garden for our Daughter which we really appreciated.

Toilet and shower areas kept clean and it's lovely to have access to a proper shower which you can just turn on that gives you powerful and hot water rather than the swimming bath style ones you often see at campsite which you have to continually press on and are either way to cold or way to hot.

Thank you Celia for answering my many questions before we arrived 🙈 we will certainly come again.

All the shower and toilet blocks are clean and well look after. The site isn't far away from your local Sainsbury's or Rhyl it's self

Just come back from a lovely stay at abbey farm, this is now a firm favourite destination when we visit north wales. Celia and her husband are the perfect hosts who go the extra mile to make sure you have the best time with them. The site is clean and tidy, ample pitch sizes with 16a hook ups with water and toilet waste with only a short walk away, also the toilets and showers are lovely and clean too. The site is perfect for family’s who want a safe space for the children to play in. It was lovely to see there cows daily in the adjoining field as well as having fresh eggs from their chickens. 11/10 if that’s possible. See you next year both

I recently stayed at Abbey Farm with my partner and I'm so glad we chose here, we had an awesome stay from start to finish! We wanted to book a glamping site but neither of us drive - Abbey Farm is 10 minutes in a taxi from Rhyl train station which is super handy. On arrival Celia had heated up the wood fired bath for us and left a bottle of prosecco out which was such a lovely touch. The bed was comfortable and the pod was clean, tidy and felt really fresh. It was lovely to sit out watching the cows in the field opposite! Rhuddlan village is only a short walk away with some really nice pubs and a great Indian restaurant. Celia was so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a nice relaxing break away, we will definitely be back!

Perfect location , beautiful, clean , peaceful site. We had a lovely relaxed break in our van, dogs and children made so welcome ! Great for bike rides and easy walking distance to local amenities. Celia is a great host , definitely one of our favourite sites so far.

Very quiet unspoiled site set in a stunning rural location.
The shower and toilet blocks are private and spotlessly clean
The scenery is what makes it special, with lovely walks past the castle ruins into the village where you can find any amenities you need.
The owners couldn’t be more friendly or helpful, we would most definitely recommend if you want a peaceful get away from it all break, and we have every intention of returning again

We had the most perfect peaceful stay, Celia and her family were the most accommodating hosts you could ask for!
Our pod was lovely and the area was kind. 10/10 would recommend definitely will be returning! We will be missing Jess the farm pup

We had a great time at Abbey Farm. We had lots of space and privacy for our pitch, and the site was kept emmaculately. Cella went over and above to ensure we were happy, even allowing us to have a spare part for our awning delivered due to a part failure. Showers and toilets are well kept and we found the fridge and freezer really helpful for our food storage. Thanks for a great stay, we hope to come back 😃 Andrea

Our first time visiting Abbey Farm what a beautiful site set in a beautiful location. The site is a very well run and maintained site. We had very good communions with the owner from booking, pre arrival and greeting on arrival.
We spent 6 nights here and will be back for sure, we cannot recommend this site highly enough.
It's a ideal location to base yourself and explore the north Wales coastline.
You won't be disappointed, we weren't.

Loved this peaceful site. The showers were the best I've had on a campsite before, and very clean. The owners are very friendly as is Jess one of the farm dogs. It was lovely waking up with the bulls in the next field pottering about. It's just a short walk into the village and castle and a 3 mile walk along a track into Ryll. We will definitely be going back

A 5 night stay with the family in our camper van on the perfect campsite. Based on a working farm all the pitches are grass with electric hookup with easy access to superb toilet and shower facilities and several elsan points, all kept very clean even with us campers and our dirty feet. Couldn't have asked for a better experience with the campsite site it's self and the marvellous owners, thank you Celia 😁 So impressed that we're already planning a return visit 🙂.

Stayed in one of the pods to celebrate my birthday. I would recommend Abbey farm without any hesitation very friendly owners,great views of the Welsh countryside,everything spotlessly clean

Just nearly had a week at the campsite in our campervan. The option to have electric is great for big families. Facilities where fantastic, plenty of showers and toilets which were cleaned on a daily basis. Very welcoming and owners are brilliant. Plenty of shops and places to visit so will definitely be coming back.

We have had a lovely stay at Abbey Farm the facilities were kept clean, the pitches were a lovely size & the grass kept lovely & short. Celia was very friendly & helpful she came to say goodbye with a cwtch, we would definitely recommend staying at Abbey Farm.
Good bus links, A castle, lovely pubs, chip shop & food store in the village.
