A really friendly service where my cat is always well looked after, everyone is knowledgeable and easy to communicate with, recommend highly.

Excellent service. Appointments can easily be made and so far I have been able to get my dog checked on the same day or the day after which is good if you are worried about your pets health. The staff are very friendly; they’re very caring towards my dog and have assessed every health concern with professionalism. They ensure my dog has received the correct treatments with follow up appointments or feedback through telephone conversations. I have used a couple other vet surgeries but would definitely stay with this one.

We had been staying in Talgarth on holiday and our dog developed a bad paw. I called at 9am and they saw him that morning at 10.45.
They were so wonderful with our dog and spoiled him to make him feel at ease. He even whimpered when the nurse left to get his medicine as he didn't want her to go 🤣
Amazing staff and so great and wish they were my permanent vets but sadly were only visiting.

After our rescue cat re-appeared 3 days after going off on a long adventure we realised that she was not her usual happy self, we rang HayGarth Vets and were spoken to politely with the receptionist asking us triage questions, we were offered several appointments for that day and when we took Whisky in we were greeted straight away with kindness and concern. The vets were both very caring and gentle towards Whisky allowing me to be in the examination room with her, this helped reassure Whisky and kept her calm. She was given a very thorough examination and I was asked questions as to what I thought could be wrong. I felt my answers were taken seriously and the vet reassured me that I had done the right thing by bringing her in straight away. With a shot of pain relief and antibiotics we were on our way back to the comfort of Whisky’s home where we are keeping an eye on her with lots of cuddles and treats. We were advised that if we felt Whisky was still not her usual self we were encouraged to bring her straight back to be seen again for further examinations. I would definitely recommend HayGarth Vets and we have signed up to their text alerts for flee and worm treatment which are a god sent as we live very hectic lives and we want to keep our cats happy and healthy. My first visit to the vets with Scoob the Frenchie was a great experience, you can park right outside the door which is always helpful, the receptionist/veterinary assistant is quite possibly the most friendly person ever! after a very short wait the vet came and took us to the back room where a thorough check took place and this was just for a second puppy jab, she gave me lots of important info and literature to support this (Scoob got treats) in a nutshell a very personal experience, i didn't feel like i was being rushed out of the door or urged to pay and go which has been my experience in the past at vet surgeries. 5 stars for 5 start treatment!

Great service: thoroughly professional and friendly too. Of course, our cats don't look forward to visiting Hay Vets for their inoculations, but you can't have everything :-)

Had to take my French bull dog puppy for her spot on (fleecure/deterrent) .staff at the centre are always helpful. I take my dogs in sometimes just to say hello .that way they don't get stressed out when they have their check ups and vaccinations. Recommend their practice to everyone who I know that have pets.

Great understanding of pet issues by receptionist, quick appointment and excellent vet, taking time to listen to concerns and explain findings/ treatment. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We have always found them to be realy helpful and polite, and i would highly recommend them to any one who needs a vet.

The best thing we moved Bruno to Hay Vets .we have recomended a few others too I don't know why. But unlike the other vet we used. he loves going in there but if they made fuss of me...like they do him.I wouldn't mind going in lol

As a visitor to the area the vets saw me within an hour of contacting them about my concerns over my young dog. Te vet and offered good advice and sensible treatment.

I visited hay vets on the 9th of February with my kitten Bertie the staff were so helpful and courteous and also made my kitten feel relaxed and totally spoiled by he staff can’t recommend this vet enough wouldn’t want to go anywhere else 5 star
