Lovey staff, friendly and helpful.
Great views from main dining room
Good sized portions and well presented food
Best to always book as can get very busy at times.
Car park is just about big enough for the venue but at very busy times one may have to park on the road way opposite the pub.

Had an amazing Sunday lunch at Finnygook. Veggie dinner was delicious, impressive Yorkshires and roasties. Busy but service was excellent, food hot and generous portion sizes.

Very friendly, warm welcome for us and the dog. Fabulous fresh and tasty food with great selection of gin all served with a smile. Perfect after a bracing walk on the beach. Would highly recommend.

Delicious food served by very family friendly and patient waiting staff! Lovely setting, views and cool range of board games for a rainy day alternative. You can easily spend a couple of hours there without a fuss 😊👍

I've left 5 Stars as it would be unfair to this business to do otherwise. We tried twice to get a meal from here as we were staying locally and it was recommended by our landlord. We arrived at the venue only to find nowhere to park. We waited for a while but only more cars turned up and we nearly witnessed an accident because the parking was so tight and limited. The second occasion we came, we waited and managed to get a parking place but by then it was 10 minutes past the "last orders for food" which is 8pm. At that point we gave up. I'm sure the place is lovely and the food is great, but if you want to go, walk, get a lift, or get a taxi there. If we are ever staying near here again we will try again and I'll update this review accordingly.

Beautiful place, really friendly staff and excellent food. Huge portions and great value for money. Only complaint, car park is a bit small and tight, but a small price to pay for the excellent food!! Will definitely be back.

Love this place and can't stay away whenever I am in the area. Homely vibes with lovely open fire to welcome you and then your hit by the gorgeous smells from the kitchen.
Real ale is great with plenty to choose from and the food is perfect. Never had a bad meal and don't expect to in the future. These guys have it sorted.
Loved it, all of it lol oh and it's dog friendly too if you have one.
Ps portion size is perfect. So don't expect to have a 3 course meal as your run out of room.

So many memories. My wife and I went to the Finnygook 30 years ago before we were married. A few changes (I think) but the beer was still good, the food looked excellent (shame we didn't have time to stop) and the staff were very friendly

Delicious Sunday lunch, & particularly pleased there is no background music so diners can enjoy conversation.

What an absolutely lovely pub. The atmosphere, the staff, and even the guests themselves. It's so relaxed and so friendly here. A very very dog friendly place too. Loved it. Also has good vegan and vegetarian options. I had their bean burger. It was delicious. And such a generous portion of chips, too! Located at the top of the hill from portwrinkle, I highly recommend coming here either for a meal and a drink or if you're doing the South West coast path or if you're just out for a day walk. There's a bus stop right across too for the walkers :). It is also wheelchair accessible.

Wow how can I describe this establishment, friendly personal service, good range of drinks and the food.... wow the food every meal we saw made my mouth salivate! The fish pie had so much fish!! For desert I had pavlova with almond ice cream and berrys. 6 adults mains and desserts for under £145!

I'd rate higher if possible
