What a great find !!! Amazing little place and the food was amazing !! Steak was cooked to perfection and service was spot on. Mushrooms for starter and onions rings . Then fillet steak for main. Also squeezed a rhubarb crumble and custard even though I was full but love rhubarb and it lovely . Emily was so friendly and welcoming and we highly recommend!!

Such a lovely place! Stunning decor, genuinely warm and friendly staff, great coffee and the food was delicious! We loved our breakfast there this weekend just past. On a lovely high street too so a nice slow morning out! Highly recommend.

We visited for a Sunday treat. The staff were helpful and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the smoothies. A beautiful venue and the best place I've been in a long time. Exquisite surroundings and the spring flowers are breathtaking. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Birthday lunch at Emily’s it is an absolutely gorgeous venue the decor and flowers are a joy. The staff are so welcoming and happy so they make you feel good. The food was delicious thank you Emily’s you kicked off my birthday celebrations in style xx

Great food and excellent value for money.

We loved visiting this place for lunch. Food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable, I have paid much more for food no where near as good as this.

The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were polite and friendly.

I would highly recommend a visit, we'll be back.

Beautiful setting and food.
We did have to wait for about 10 minutes despite being booked and seen other people come in and be shown straight to their tables which was a little frustrating.We ordered 2 breakfasts which were beautifully presented and tasted just as good. The staff were pleasant and attentive.
The music was a bit too loud but I am autistic and struggle with loudness anyway and I can see that this may have been created to drown out the conversations from the next tables.
Overall a lovely experience and I would love to return as the menu choice looked divine and I want to try more dishes.

Had an Anniversary Breakfast today and the videos on social media do not do it justice it’s a 100 times better….Food was amazing Pancakes where stunning can not think of any other words to describe the restaurant. Music was soothing and relaxing we sat by a water fountain which made it more calming and pleasant.staff where never needed to be prompted drinks where really enjoyable staff could not do anymore above and beyond 100% will be coming back for any other birthdays and celebrations

All the food was amazing and looks as good as its pictures. The pancakes were nice and fluffy with plenty of toppings. Staff were super attentive and service was superb. We parked at the formby pool trust car park which is a 3 minute walk costing £2 for 2 hours which had plenty of spaces as the streets had no spaces available. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Stunning food and restaurant
Have visited Emily’s now on a number of occasions - for birthday breakfasts and Sunday roast.

Food on both occasions have been excellent. Dog friendly aswell which is great as it’s a 5 minute drive to formby beach, which is ideal to go for a walk before or after.

Decor is absolutely stunning. Everytime I visit I love the place more.

So this evening we went to emilysformby for the early bird menu, 3 course, for £28 the food was delicious I had the Cauliflower & Chickpea Fritters with Beetroot Crisps &
Tahini & Lemon Dressing then the Honey Charred Aubergine Gnocchi Bake, with
Tahini, Pine Nuts & Macademia Cheese for main followed by the Baked cheese cake the wife had the Chicken and Pistachio Croquetteswith Garlic Chives and Curry Mayo followed by the Emily’s ‘Steak Frites’; 6oz Rump Steak with Fries, Watercress & Peppercorn Jus for dessert she had the yuzu lemon tart all together the food fab the staff tonight were really great attentive and made us feel welcome didn't catch her name but she was training to be a vocal teacher.

Visited Emily's for the first time on Thursday evening and will definitely be back. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were lovely so friendly but professional, a special mention to our server Tasha who without doubt is a credit to the establishment. The service was great and the food we had outstanding and very reasonably priced for the choice, standard and quality. As we live in Birkdale we are looking forward to their new restaurant, Penelope's, opening soon on Rotten Row.

Emily's is a beautifully decorated and unique spot in the heart of Formby village.

Housed in and old (and fully converted) bank, the owners have put A LOT of time and money into creating something very special. There is nothing else quite like it in the village, though a couple of spots do come close. The internal bar area is very luxurious, whilst the dining area is spacious, and the conservatory area is breathtaking both when the roof is over and when it's retracted.

The daytime (brunch) food was spectacular. There were a variety of unique options on the menu, and everything we had was delicious. Prices were somewhat on the high side, but the quality reflected the price and then some.

Coffees were almost perfect! Easily the best tasting coffees in Formby, and with a little more attention to the latte art they'd be the best looking ones too. Emily's will now be my place to for a coffee in Formby, even though it's surrounded by dedicated coffee spots (both chains and independents).

The staff were friendly and struck that balance of formal and casual very well. There were highchairs available but no parking on-site so you'll have to hunt around the village for that.

We will definitely be back!

Brunch was fab food was amazing and service was great very friendly atmosphere.

My first time visiting Emily's Formby, we visited for a friend's birthday (party of 12), some had starters but mostly mains and one dessert (me) all the parties food was delicious and was great value for money in my opinion, they also had a extensive selection of beer, wines, gins and fantastic cocktails with non alcoholic options available too.

I had the Crab Cakes, Gnocchi of the day and finished off with a Chocolate Fondant which were all delicious, to note there many plant based and vegetarian options available too.

The ambience and general aesthetic of the inside/outside was beautiful, something out of a movie scene, service from all the team was brilliant especially Lacey, who was very attentive.

Would highly recommend for those wanting to book this place out for a luxurious treat or for a special occasion or a date with your loved one.

We frequently come here for brunch and dinner, our experience has always been 10 out of 10 in terms of food, value for money, service and atmosphere/experience. We recently had a Sunday dinner which was an absolute knockout, the sticky toffee pudding was excellent, all items were fairly priced considering their quality. We were served by Tasha who was pleasant, welcoming and extremely attentive. Thank you Tasha!
