We have used Elm Cottage for the last 20 years and most recently for our two cats and two Dalmatians.

The staff are always friendly, great with our dogs, well informed and appointments are always easy to make and run largely on time.

At our appointment today, our normal super vet , Charlie, was unexpectedly not available and we were seen by the Practice Manager, George. He even went the extra mile to call us the night before to let us know that Charlie would not be able to see us. He was friendly, knowledgeable and exactly what we have come to expect from Elm Cottage.

We would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone with dogs, cats or any other pets.

Been coming to Elm Cottage with all our animals (cat, dog and bunnies) for several years and always had a great professional service. We recently had to put our cat to sleep and the service received by the vet team was superb, caring yet professional. Our dog looses her usual bouncy confidence once in the door but at each vet visit gets given so many treats and cuddles from the vet so she doesn't mind going. Highly recommend!

This vet looked after my wife and daughter after our tiny hamster had a fall. The vet was on time, provided lovely reassurance, didn’t offer anything that wasn’t necessary. As a result there was no charge. We’ll definitely be back but hopefully under less auspicious circumstances next time.

Beyond 5 stars. They are without doubt the best vets in the area that I've used, they care deeply about the animals they treat. They've done me and my pets proud over the years, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

We have been using Elm Cottage and Gordon House for the past 19 years with our Great Danes. The reception staff are very courteous, helpful and polite always managing to fit us in should we need to be seen in a hurry. Our rescue female Dane does not like vets but this has never been a problem for Djordje or Vladimir, they simply come outside to treat her. The vets here always fully explain the animals condition and treatment using plain and simple language that you can understand. Our male Dane has recently had a procedure carried out at Gordon House and continues to be seen at the vets for check ups until the stitches are removed. Quite honestly I cannot praise them enough, from the vets themselves to the vet nurses, to the receptionists. I would whole heartedly recommend this practice to anyone who cares about their pets.

They are lovely people to speak to, they also listen to your concerns and help as much as they can! I took my dog here and they have been so helpful, I would definitely recommend anybody going to this vet!

The staff here were amazing with us and our dog. Sadly we had to put our dog down, but I can't recommend the vet practice enough.

Our RSPCA Rescue had quite a few health issues when we first rescued him , but with first class Veterinary treatment and advice our little hound is fit , well and flourishing
