A really welcoming traditional pub in the heart of lovely Dunblane. I really recommend a drink here. I had a delicious ale and would definitely return. I heard the food is good and would like to try it.

We went here as a very wet and cold family of 4 with a dog who have been camping since Monday. and this place put a smile back on all our faces.. the gentleman who served us was absolutely amazing kind and friendly. Our teenage daughters ADHD and needed certain things done to her food not a problem 👌 the prices were really good and the food was out of the world 😋 my 5 year old loved the slushy aswell.

We will absolutely be back even if we need to drive from Renfrew 😋

Went to The Tappit Hen but found out that they didn't do food. Lady there suggested The Village Inn, only two minutes down the road. I am disabled and it was a very long two minutes but worh it. Staff could not be faulted. I had haggis bon bons to start. Spicy haggis covered in a really crispy crumb with a whisky sauce. Excellent. Elizabeth had very tasty breaded mushrooms. Main course for me was scampi and chips. All very tasty. Elizabeth had another starter of chicken goujons which she really enjoyed. We had a little dog with us who was fussed over. A really doggy friendly pub. The decor is a little bit tired but is more than made up for by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We asked for a taxi back to where we left our car as I could not have walked back up the hill. No taxi available, so the landlord very kindly took us there in his own car. We will be back.

I previously reviews the village inn in somewhat of a tongue in cheek manner, but today I wish to be entirely serious. The young man who I believe was called James served me brilliantly the other day, with a smile and a quick wit. If he is representative of what this establishment has to offer, then I could not rate it higher. Will be back!

The Village Inn is a friendly, down to earth local near to the Station in the heart of Dunblane. It's not fancy or restaurant - like, it's a pub that serves food, but the service is good and the food excellent. Generous portions are the norm. Also dog friendly and accommodating. Locals friendly too.

Nice pub with a pool table. Good atmosphere. On a Saturday night they were setting up for live music.

When ordering over the phone was told delivery would be 90 minutes. Food arrived promptly and was still hot. We ordered 6oz steak burger with bacon, and the bbq chicken. Both dishes were fresh and tasty. Great portion size. We were charged £40 when paying, however when the delivery arrived, the lady handed me a money bag with change saying we had been overcharged. By £15. Thank you for the honesty. Would highly recommend The Village Inn 👌

We ate twice here this past weekend and both times were super impressed. My dad had the good old fish and chips and had only high praise indeed. All our food was excellent. Service wonderful and just lovely staff both nights. Highly recommend.

Hiya, would like to leave a quick review. James our server for when we visited, was nothing but excellent. Quick, Reliable and had fantastic charismatic Banter. Food was outstanding (salt was in the right shaker) and the atmosphere was brilliant. Will 110% come back. Cheers James, you are a fantastic young man!

I had lunch with friends here recently and found the place friendly and generally satisfactory. The usual pub grub is on the menu. The food was well-prepared and appetising. We will be back.

Visiting Dunblane for the weekend and we had morning coffee here and an evening meal. Brilliant service by lovely staff who couldn't do enough to accommodate us and great food.

Would give 6 stars if I could. The guy was very friendly (assume he is the manager - sorry didn't catch his name), drink selection was fab and very affordably priced, food was gorgeous, restaurant quality and they have loads of veggie AND vegan options which was such a nice surprise. Friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back to try more food when I am back in Dunblane. Thank you! (I wasn't staying here at the pub so couldn't give a score for the rooms)

Nice pub with good choice of beers and wines. Good range of food on the good value menu. Tasty soup and sandwiches suited us for a light lunch. Service was very friendly and would definitely return.

I go down on my lunch for work, so I can get in, order taken, fed and bill paid in 45 minutes. Fast service, good food, decent price for the area. Standard pub no expensive thrills which is nice and the staff are so polite and kind. Always offering to help.

Fab meal, food was really tasty. Only disappointment was run out of sticky toffee pudding. We had a wheelchair user in our party and they provided a ramp to access upper seating level. Friendly staff. A pleasure to visit and will do so again

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had a great lentil soup with a cheese and ham toastie and small salad. Very tasty and nicely presented with great service. Will be returning soon to support this family business.
