Booked an afternoon tea for four people to celebrate a birthday, hands down the tastiest afternoon tea we have ever had. Everything was freshly made, lovely salad and chips with the sandwiches and sausage rolls and each cake was individually delicious/homemade. Really good value for money for the amount/quality of food you get. Would 100% recommend the afternoon tea!
We were able to sit outside in the sun, which was lovely. The conservatory area was beautifully set up so if the weather hadn’t have been so good we would have been more than happy to sit in there. Hidden gem!

I truly lovely hotel, lovely decor, family run,
Very friendly, great food, from light bites to full menu.
Lots of lovely areas to sit in, from the stag dinning room, Thistle room and the lovely garden room.
Great venue from parties to weddings .
Dog friendly and child friendly as well.
All made very welcome.
I just love it 😊

We stayed on two separate nights. The staff, the service were excellent, very friendly and made us feel like part of their family. Food was delicious and well presented. We would definitely be stopping there again. The Westlands Hotel surpasses all expectations. Thankyou to all of you from Kevin Daniels. Colin and Mo Bryce

This is a lovely local owned hotel. Have been several times. Very nice staff and food is good. Lovely setting that is very relaxing. It's the sort of place you keep thinking of an excuse to visit! Lovely fireplace and seats very comfortable. Thoroughly recommend.

My husband and I were driving up north and were looking for somewhere to have lunch.
Inside the hotel looks like it’s from a fairy tale. Lovely decorations, fireplace with real fire, suit of armor, tartan carpet and many other lovely touches.
Breaded haddock with chips was delicious, very crispy and fresh, my husband had chicken wings and soup of the day that he loved too.
Our waiter was very attentive and provided great service.

We ate at the bar this afternoon and had fish and chips and a toastie. All freshly prepared and well presented. Chips were like thick well roasted potato skins and delicious, really fluffy inside with a crunchy coating. Although it was a quiet day our server was attentive and polite, very friendly 😀.
A nice surprise and will be back for more food 😋 thanks x

Hugely recommended, this gem excels and exceeds expectation. The rooms were fresh and airy and full of Scottish character; someone is an interior designer ! The meals were delicious and artistically presented and amazing value. If you can eat anything after the Scrummy Scottish breakfast, don’t miss the Haggis Tower or the burgers are to die for.

There was a big wedding on during our stay yet no long waits at the bar and our rooms remained peaceful and tranquil during the festivities. The staff all clearly love working here and feel part of a family, as does the most amazing and friendly hotel dog in the hall who greets every visitor ! What a fabulous showpiece for Scotland; we’ve never had so much fun from such a caring family and their staff.

I visit here regularly (though not frequently) and always appreciate the food and the friendly welcome. Recently I came with my wife for lunch and enjoyed sampling more than just coffee and scones. There is lots of outdoor seating and an extended covered area with very comfortable seating and attractive decor. Parking is available and a pleasant garden for the stretching of legs!

We were there for breakfast and a meal at the end of the day's sport. It's a really lovely place. Friendly, personal service, comfortable and relaxed, great food, good beer, very close to the town. The only reason that we didn't stay there is that they were fully booked. We'll need to contact them earlier, next year.

Well sorry everyone..a little bit late posting this review but just had to mention how good a experience we have had on two different family get togethers recently at the Westlands Hotel. First was Christmas day with 14 family members..a couple smaller kids and a baby. The full day from start to finish was just amazing...the welcome..the staff..the food...the service with a cheerie approach every time..nothing a problem. Fantastic Xmas meal...have already put our names down for next Xmas. Amazing day all round thanks to Eve,Jody&all the staff👍Then another family meal four days later for sixteen yearold grandsons birthday..just back from Austraila...again what a meal&fantastic day. Couldnt fault anything on either of these days..just the best. I do stay locally..and been a regular a long time..i certainly recommend a visit to this lovely hotel for any occasion..whether it be for a meal..drinks..or formal event. Thanks so much to all at Westlands..keep up the great work..see you soon for sure!!!👍

Very friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to help and ensure safety when leaving due to snow in carpark. We were celebrating my mother's 90th birthday and it was a lovely night.

Lovely pup, adequate seating for the number of people there. Very nice furnishings, love the tartan carpet, leather chesterfield chair by the fake coal fire. Ok selection of draught beers, Guinness, Tetley bitter and Ines and Gunn, there were 3 more taps but cannot remember what they were. Pool table available. Ate a Christmas dinner here in the function room, very nice and reasonably priced. Staff were very accommodating, while they didn't have a baby changing room they made a space suitable. The Christmas decorations were very nice.

Well-situated for travellers on the motorway and those visiting the marvellous town of Dunblane or Stirlingshire. Friendly and welcoming staff and locals in a spacious and well-appointed Hotel. Excellent for a variety of events. I enjoyed the wholesome food.
