Seven Stars

What a great find and dog friendly too. We popped in on the off chance to get out of the rain , wanting some warm food. We had the burger and the gammon steak, which were both perfect. The desert we had were the chocolate brownie , rum and cherry tart, both recommended. Well priced and a great warm atmosphere.

We had dinner, scallops followed by mussels for me and haddock and chips for my husband. It was fresh and good. We booked again for Sunday lunch with our uncle and aunt. It was good. My husband and uncle really enjoyed the local Jail Ale. The atmosphere was good on both occasions. The best things were how the staff (in particular Nicki) looked after us and accommodated our elder relatives in accessible seating that they don't normally reserve. For me, as a woman, they get a 5 plus star rating for the ladies' toilets - super clean even at 10 pm on a Saturday night in a busy pub. I will return again next time I go to Dartmouth.

I always love pubs that are off the 'beaten track', especially as they are as lovely and so well run as this one is.
Just had a pint and fish cakes to die for. The beer was very very good. I could tell it's been kept well.

Last minute finding somewhere to eat in Dartmouth came across this pub up a side street not normally my thing but had history! Very pleasantly surprised compliments to the chef! Probably the best mussels I've ever had, even in France & Belgium where this dish is a speciality. Perfectly cooked in a gorgeous sauce. Very clean toilets too !

Lovely old pub, packed full of character. We had a couple of small plates and some fries to share, which was all really good. The chap behind the bar was really welcoming and did a fantastic job of running the bar and floor service by himself. Will definitely go back next time we're in Dartmouth

Great location and a lovely quirky pub.
It's central location is a great for day trips and the staff and meals were fantastic.
Due to Dartmouth's age and location parking can be a challenge but don't let that deter you as the ambience of this pub more than makes up for any drawbacks.

We ate in the Seven stars 3 times whilst staying in Dartmouth for the week. The Scallops were amazing The Hake mussels and Monkfish were also great extremely well cooked. My Daughter had huge burgers and pizza and so many fries portions are brilliant I drank the Cornish Ochard cider with my meals. Really rate this place and if I lived closer I would absolutely be a regular these guys are great hosts with great food. Many thanks to you all hope to be back soon.

Just had a lovely smashed cheeseburger and chips here ! Highly recommend too big a portion for me though I’m sorry I couldn’t finish it ! Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere!

Celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary there today.....lots of tapas, beer and wine 😁

Excellent place to stay. You came to my rescue when I had to leave some terrible accommodation nearby. This room was so comfortable, stylish and clean with new bathroom, comfy bed, and many thoughtful extras. Pub food was delicious too. Thank you so much. Great place to stay!

Excellent Sunday Roast. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive and the meal was delicious. All the family thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

A very friendly proper pub. Welcomed us 6 and the dog, stayed for a beer and ended up getting lunch and was not disappointed.
