The Mariners inn is well worth a visit if in the area or driving through.
staff are so friendly and you are always made to feel very welcome.
The pub is situated in such a beautiful area with breathtaking views, with a beach literally opposite just over the road.
Either side there is coastal walks with again breathtaking views of the bay.
It is a very family oriented pub, and well behaved dogs are welcome too 😃.
They even had dog bowls outside for our four legged friends.
The previous year we had my mum with us .
Mum is wheelchair user the toilets was bit hard for transferring mum, however we did it.
We had to push mum up a bit of a steep hill to get her into the bar.
There are a few light bites on offer, from cakes to crisps to scampi fries, however enquire at the bar for more information.
They have a board with information on such as open mic, live music etc.
The Beach in season is patrolled by lifeguards.
There is a reasonably good sized carpark which hold approximately 30 spaces.
The carpark has electric charging points and a pay and display.
There are toilets in the carpark however they were not disabled friendly.
The toilets were clean and tidy.
The Mariners inn is a lovely place to visit to sit back, unwind and take in the beautiful views with a hot beverage or an Alcoholic beverage you will not be disappointed.
We had a wonderful time and met some lovely people some being chalet owners and holidaymakers like ourselves.
We have been coming here now since 2016, it really is a beautiful place.

You will get a lovely welcome at Mariners. Very family friendly and relaxing.
The food and drink are excellent and can be enjoyed in comfy chairs whilst enjoying the view onto St Brides bay.

A lovely tea, latte and 2 Victoria Sponge cakes on return after a hard slog on the coast path. The cakes came with some fresh fruit consisting of strawberries, grapes and blueberries which was a nice touch and added to the presentation. Lovely young girl serving who brought the refreshments outside to us and even done her bit for nature tending to a stray bee on the path. The views from the outside seating area were spectacular and with the sun out were on par with some European sun hotspots. Awesome.

I only came for food, the pasties are amazing, and great coffee and cakes, I wanted to get one of the cool t-shirts, but they didn't have my size

Stopped at this pub as a halfway point in a coastal walk with some friends and it was such a lovely place! The pub is beautifully decorated with a lovely view of the beach and lots of drinks and food to choose from. There was even a band practicing for their evening performance and some local, handmade gifts available to buy, with all proceeds donated to charity. Everyone was so lovely to us, both locals and staff, and the food was delicious. Would happily come back here, especially for another Christmas pasty!

Myself and my large family group stopped here for a light lunch. We had coffees, cream teas, cakes and sandwiches. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. The sandwiches were on fresh sourdough and filled to the brim. The service was fantastic, really friendly staff. The waitress went out of her way to accommodate our requests. Would highly recommend

I have not stayed in the hotel part but the pub and cafe area is very very good, extremely friendly and nice staff and the food from the cafe is amazing and presented extremely well and is really not that expensive for what you get. Pool table that is £1 a go in the pub and is very nice and well maintained. I’m not sure if this will be the same in the summer but this winter is was extremely quite in there as in it would either just be us or the 4 locals that are there a lot and will happily chat away to you for hours but I can imagine in the summer it’s not that quiet and will probably be quite busy. Definitely a good pub to go to

Have been out for a walk with my son and our dog today and felt a bit hungry so we popped into the brasserie and I'm so glad we did! We drank a lovely chamomile tea (pukka organic) and a nice chai, but the food we had there is really worth mentioning. Absolutely impressed by their delicious and generous size halloumi baguette and welsh rarebit, so fresh and tasty. We'll be back for more, hopefully they'll keep these on the menu for a while. Nice atmosphere, great service, the view is awesome and dogs are welcome too...Well done to the owner and the staff. Thank you very much for a lovely experience 🙏

What a lovely place to stop for a drink and some cake! After a 3 mile walk from Newgale beach, we stopped here for a sausage roll and some tiffin and it was absolutely lovely. Staff are so friendly, the decor is lovely with the ladies/disabled toilet being the nicest toilet I’ve ever been in! Definitely worth the walk!

Fantastic little pub just off the beach with outdoors seating overlooking the beach.

The interior is funky, modern and welcoming. Also has occasional evening entertainment

Popped in for tea and snacks. Had scone, t-cake and tea and, whilst we were ordering, unfortunately some chocolate tiffin appeared on the bar so it would have been rude to refuse. All were superb and far exceeded our expectations. Came with fresh fruit which was a perfect accompaniment and portions were generous. All served with a smile as well; very impressed. Only issue is it’s spoilt my expectations for snacks elsewhere but it was worth the walk from Newgale. If this is the level of detail and service on basic stuff it bodes well for rest of menu. As an official grumpy old man I’m not usually this pleasantly surprised.

Great little place to recharge after walking or being on the beach. Could easily loose a rainy afternoon playing cards & drinking beer in this cosy, friendly place. We would look to stay in Nolton just to hang out here next time.
We continued walking to Newgale and they were very happy to refill our water bottles on the way back to Druidstone.

Lovely little pub, recently refurbished. Very welcoming and friendly owner. Had initial reservations about £7 for soup, but wow. Homemade, tasty and with plentiful accompaniments.

This place is under new management and reopened two weeks ago. Lovely owner and nice decor. The best ambiance to watch the sunset with a pint in hand. 10/10 would visit again

This was the experience of a lifetime. Decor straight out the eighties. There's some sort of discotheque in the bar and some very interesting memorabilia. I only had a coffee and a piece of fruit cake so don't feel fully equipped to give an extensive review. However I feel I have to tell you to at least call in if you are ever passing.
