The service was a little bit slow, but it looked like a surprise wake had turned up at the venue. Their was a waitress with dark curly hair and sea creature tattoos who was very good, gave us a better table if we waited a few minutes which was above and beyond, always helpful and friendly.
The food was nice too, curry was delicious and having a half and half portion of rice and chips wad very filling! Gammon was well loved, only downside was the lasagne had a slight weird texture. But overall it was lovely, and made better with the service of that one person.

Proper pub with food. Authentic food home cooked. Best sea views. 30 yards to the best beach for the family. This is a locals pub so if you’re lucky and time it well, you will meet the best kindest fun loving people anywhere. Total joy.

Our waitress was very helpful, bubbly and efficient. The food was quick and delicious. It was a really good portion and the fish was so white. Lovely. Highly recommend. £15.50 for Cod and Chips which is exactly the same as the take away opposite. Definitely recommend the Cloudy Lemon Cider.

This is a lovely pub... right on the sea front. Pool table, plenty of outside seating with a good selection of beers and ciders.

Absolutely perfect on a wet and windy Welsh Sunday afternoon!
The staff were really friendly and welcoming, we had an absolutely superb Sunday lunch and had. A great table by a roaring fire.
Food was fantastic and we were amazed at how reasonable the bill was!
We shall definitely visit again!

Great pub for food and good beers, in a wonderful seaside spot. Separated from the beach by the width of a road, grab a drink and a table in the sunshine for a lovely evening watching the waves lap in.

Been a few times during our week away. You could not ask for more. The food is Devine. My father-in-law has not stopped talking about how good the chips were for two days.
The Carolina reaper burger was epic.
On top of the great food comes excellent service, friendly staff, homely atmosphere and an overall sense that every involved at the Galleon cares for and enjoys their work.
Live music at weekends are the cherry on top.

If you in the area, make this place a must visit pit stop. You will not leave disappointed.

Loved this pub really really friendly people and the customers were nice too, nothing is too much trouble for them. Log fire overlooking the sea with a pint what more could you ask for in the cold weather. Food again was nice and priced really well. Spent some money in there as it’s a pub you don’t need to leave once your in will deffo pop back in the next time I’m down that way. Cheers all

We loved the food. My garden veggie burger was not soy but made of real fresh veggies, broccoli and peas. Staff is very nice.

Lovely to be able to go out for a steak and have a really nice meal. Chips were home cooked and fab. We also got involved in the pub quiz, which was great fun and an unexpected bonus.
Great staff and excellent service.
Will definitely be making a return visit,

Amazing comfort food. Massive portions and reasonably priced. Everything was fresh and homemade, had the fish curry (sauce was a little thin) but tasty. And the ferrore rocher ice cream cake was to die for! Friendly staff. 10/10 recommend
