One of the best restaurants we have ever been to! Amazing chips, and the best fried fish! The service was superb!
However, please beware that a soft drink from the fountain cost 4 pounds, while a can is 1.50. Otherwise, everything was great!

Excellent place to sit and eat. Staff was rather professional and courteous. What a joyous and delightful experience. This graceful lady waited on our table and made sure that we had everything. Tables, chairs, the environment everything was nicely cleaned. Although I didn’t like the sink in men’s lavatory which was put in corner and was fairly small. Water splashed on my clothes. Adjusting it to proper position would make this place heaven but other than that it’s all great. Well done, Ocean Cafe Staff.

We sat in the Cafe section and ordered from the counter from an impressive lunch menu. Great Food, lovely brioche bun with the burger, scampi & fries with a salad garnish cooked perfectly. Well presented and tasty. Good Service, clean throughout, beautiful beach / location and a lovely Sunday Lunch / desserts & ice cream 🍨

We visited last year when staying in Broad Haven but had not had a meal in the restaurant, just takeaway food (which is also lovely). This year when visiting we visited a few times over the week for food from their takeaway menu as well as a meal in the main restaurant and the separate smaller restaurant room which was fantastic. The service and food was lovely each time we visited. We'll definitely be coming back again next year.

This restaurant is very good. We were welcomed, and dogs are allowed.
I decided to order something different and local. The Welsh Lamb Cuwl was gorgeous, served with a warm rustic roll, butter, and a stick of cheddar. My husband had a burger, and he couldn't eat it all. The
portions are generous.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the premises clean and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Mid week in March was nice and quiet so enjoyed a few relaxing coffees here in between walks. Dog friendly and staff were very welcoming. Good cream scones, cakes etc. Nice coffee. Cheaper place for fish and chips etc than most near by. Lovely views too. Will definitely return!

We came across this cafe purely by chance whilst house hunting in the area.

It has a 5 rating for cleanlinesses and hygiene which is always a plus for my wife.

Staff were really friendly and polite.

Ordering is a little strange as we had to order food at one part of the establishment and then go to a different part to order the drinks. Would be a plus if both could have been ordered together.

My wife ordered fish and chips which was cooked fresh and was the largest battered fish she had ever seen/had (in fairness I had never seen a portion so big either before!). The fish was the whole length of the silver platter it was served in. If ordering this I would say it would be enough for two people rather than one. It was delicious my wife said although she couldn’t finish it and only a few bones.

I ordered a sandwich which was served on bloomer bread which for me was a little too thick (I have an illness with difficulty swallowing though).

Would definitely return if in the area and the sea view is a bonus (although it was a little choppy when we visited).

I used the toilet whilst in the restaurant which takes you past the kitchen and glancing in Ai could see it was very clean.

Fantastic family Sunday lunch.

My wife and I had roast dinners. The portions were generous, and all the food delicious. Tasty meat, one crisp Yorkshire, roast and mashed potato, roast parsnip, cauliflower cheese, carrots, cabbage, mashed... something else! The horseradish was fantastic, with a good kick. 5/5

My daughter had one of the burgers and ate it all and said it was excellent. 5/5

My son had the battered fish and chips and loved it. Nothing more to say really! 5/5

The location is great with lovely views from many tables and the place has something of a monopoly, but doesn't abuse it. Lots of hard work, care and attention seems to go into everything. A bit of a wait but it was very busy, and worth waiting for. At least a couple of good ales available.

Reasonable value too, especially given the setting and the quality.

I knew this was my kinda place when I nipped in for a coffee one day..
It has a lovely fish menu and great shell fish. They also do the popular classics.. Steak, Burger, Chicken, Lasagne.. but I was interested in the fish.

We did start with a large starter to share which was Breast of Duck with Berries, and a Salad with Dressing; great starter, very tasty.

I had the half a Lobster with Prawns Garlic Potatoes and Mixed Vegetables. Was slightly concerned as it's late winter, but the restranter reassured me the local fisherman they source their lobster from keeps what he catches in a tank, so they're always fresh and not frozen. The mixed veg was lovely, sweet potato, French beans, and roasted parsnips and carrots. The garlic sauteed potatoes were swimming in proper garlic butter which came in handy for every part of the dish. My friend had a classic Fish and Chips. The batter on the fish was lovely, it was a great size fillet, the chips tasted as though they were triple cooked; they were sooo crispy. And it came with a lovely home made tartare sauce.

Then the home made puddings, I had an Apple and Cinnamon Crumble with custard and ice cream which was on the sweet side but cooked beautifully. My friend had a Chocolate Flake Cheesecake which was a lovely consistency and light flavour.

To sum up it was all really yummy, and the service was great. The prices were very competitive. Will call back again for Tempura Scallops 🙂

Only got some light bites for lunch, but the place was very busy, always a good sign. Not amazingly cheap but still good prices. Hot drinks came very quickly as did the food. Would definitely come again if in the area.

We had prearranged Sunday early evening roast for a group of 16 friends and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food (quality and quantity) and the superb service from Rachael and Paige. Thank you!

I really recommend this restaurant/cafe, fantastic location. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

It was nice that they where still open in November unlike so many other bars and restaurants due to the time of year.

Food was excellent! Soup of the day, ocean fish pie and hunters chicken. All big portions.
