Hillbrook House

Fantastic place. Spent our wedding anniversary there with all the family. Everything you could want is there, fantastically equipped, very comfortable place, even a card from the owner. Many thanks for making the great weekend even better.

Super duper every luxury and lots of thought gone into this place. Great for extended families with an annexe. Closest poss location to the beach, and amazing use of a cliffside stretch of garden.

Perfect location for those who want easy access to the beaches/sea! House is fully equipped with plenty of space and brilliant views!!

Good position, very clean, well appointed and comfortable.

Stayed for a weekend with family at the end of March. The outlook of the property is amazing with a beautiful bay right across the road. Sadly that’s where the positives end. On entering the property the games room is poorly furnished with 80s furniture and the paint is literally falling of the walls. I realise the property is dog Friendly but there was pet hair from the previous occupants all over the house and it just wasn’t clean. Door knob in back bedroom just came off in your hand, the light in the downstairs bathroom didn’t work, the locks on the bathroom doors haven’t been installed correctly and the bars just slip out and fall to the floor. The upstairs bathroom is tired as is all the carpet upstairs. There are clearly unresolved damp issues in most rooms with damp spots and peeling lining paper, the televisions at the property are very dated, it wasn’t particularly well stocked and the plumbing in the downstairs toilet isn’t great. Considering the rates charged for the property and what is on offer elsewhere it’s just very disappointing.
