Ed was a fantastic and caring guide. He made me and Nicole feeling really welcomed and comfortable. The coasteering is hard work but we'll worth it. My favourite part being the cave swim. The pebble beach we swim from is also a wonderful hidden gem, so bring family or friends! Thanks again Ed!

We went coasteering as a group of 8 friends with Isaac and George — we had a fantastic time doing different jumping / dives, spotted a huge seal, and learned more about ocean plant and sea life. Both Isaac and George were knowledgeable, had great energy, and made it a really fun part of our trip.

This is my second time out with Ed @Bigblueexperience coastering, Both times have been great . The jumps were the highlight of both times out . I would highly recommend any one to try this small Big old or young . Hopefully next time try kite surfing . A1 rating .

We had a fantastic week learning to surf with Isaac. He was very knowledgeable, patient and great fun. Under his supervision my daughters picked it up quickly and progressed to catching the “green waves” which they both loved! Ed was great to organise everything with too. Thanks Big Blue - see you next year!

What an awesome couple of days we've had. My husband, 15 year old son and his friend, did their first surfing lesson with Issac. By the end of it they were all starting to stand up. The next day myself and the 2 lads did another lesson with Fiona, pretty much the 2 lads we're managing to "ride the waves" I'm probably a more body board surfer😂, although I think I did manage to get a foot up on the board, both instructors were very patient and gave lots of encouragement. Would definitely recommend The Big Blue Experience.

2021 UPDATE: Ed now owns the place and runs it with the same flexible, helpful and encouraging attitude as before. We hired surf boards again and this time also paddle boards for the day which was good fun. He also does kite boarding lessons which we are considering for next time. Due to covid the outfit now longer has a front facing shop, but even if coming without notice a quick call on the mobile and they are there to help out within minutes. Get your lessons from these people, they rock.

2019: Great surf boards at a good price. Welcoming flexible attitude where they really are doing what they can to help and encourage you to get in the water and catch some waves. Ed was a particular help on the phone when we first called and his helpful attitude was instrumental in us choosing to come their rather than New Surf down the road who seemed less flexible.

We went coasteering at Blue Lagoon with a guide called Isaac who had good energy and infectious enthusiasm. We loved scrambling and jumping in the water - we had never done it before and it was a really great experience. Would recommend

We were on holidays in Pembrokeshire and wanted to do a coaststeering activity. Big Blue Experience was recommended to us and it was a great blue experience :-) Thanks to Joe who was taking care of us during the 2 hours and always asked us what we preferred (jumps, exploring caves, …) The place was really beautiful. We enjoyed and recommend it to anyone who would like to do coaststeering.

The highlight of our trip to Wales! We did a 2-day surfing course with Fiona. She was absolutely AWESOME! we truly enjoyed her energy and the way she explained things to make it easier to understand. We felt in great hands and couldn't have asked for a better support in the water when we dealt with the waves... We hope to be back soon! Also everything with Ed was straightforward, and solved all of our questions prior to the day. top!

Had a great 3 hour surfing induction on Newgale Beach across the road. Ed was easy going and eased us into some of the basics of surfing. Was great to have him in the water giving tips and pointers as well as keeping it safe. After the lesson we had a little theory about different boards, conditions etc, so we could try self lead surfing in the future. After looking at a few surfing lessons, Big Blue seamed to be the best price for the amount of time. 3 hours is definitely enough for a first session!

They couldn't have been nicer, more flexible or more helpful. You've made three teenagers and their parents very very happy indeed. Thank you so much!

Amazing water sports centre! I’ve been coming here for at the last 15 years and the team are absolutely incredible and so friendly. Professional, safe and know a ton of local knowledge both on and off the water. The kit is updated annually too so you don’t rent or end up using worn kit. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a fantastic coastering 3 hours of climbing tunnelling caves passages flushing and plenty of jumps… what a day can’t speak more highly of both the experience and staff.. Ed was brills setting it up and Joe was outstanding, superb leadership, personality and got the best out of me and our two lads.. 5 ⭐

A birthday treat was a SUP introduction session, what a fantastic time I had. Neil, Oli and the rest of the team were brilliant at everything. Highly recommend using these guys for that different day out. 5 Star service made for an unforgettable experience!!!
