Mrs Will the Fish (Seafood Takeaway)

Can't recommend enough. We rang Mrs Will the Fish at 9.00am (the time to ring to see what is available for the day) and ordered the platter for two. We had to pick it up at midday to 1.00pm window. Everything was prepared from her kitchen, and paid for by card. We ate it in the evening, it was delicious and so fresh. Worth every penny in my opinion.

This was an absolute gem of a find, we were looking for some fresh seafood in Solva and this place definitely didn’t disappoint. Rather than a shop as sorts she runs this out of her own home and has fresh crab and lobster brought to her from the harbour each afternoon. She then proceeds to make dressed crab and lobster which definitely didn’t lack in presentation and was exceptional in taste!

She was absolutely lovely and full of personality and made us feel extremely welcome! The seafood was also very reasonable priced and as you can see from the photos was of excellent standard. I would recommend this to anyone and will

The best freshly caught local seafood you'll ever taste. Crabs are beautifully dressed, the brown meat is always the best. Our platter was £25 which was excellent value for money considering the quality. You can't visit the area and not get a seafood platter

This is one of life’s joys! Someone who loves their job and has been doing it since 1979 something we can all only dream of. When I arrived Mrs Will and her husband were in the garage sorting the tyre pressure on their car.

I was greeted so warmly, like meeting an old friend - there was only one dressed crab available as I arrived at the end of the day and the quality of the crab was fantastic. I used it in a seafood pasta and the delicate flavours that crab offers punched through.

I will certainly be back and any seafood lovers passing through the area should make this a must

Freshhhhhhhhhh is the only word that comes to my mind. Highly recommend! £30 for the seafood platter for 2. Make sure you preorder the day before or you may miss out. We initially went at 530 and it was sold out, so we ordered for tomorrow. Definitely worth it.

The freshest, tastiest crab we've ever had! Mrs Will (Jan) was a delight. She was friendly and invited us to enjoy our dressed crab whilst admiring the views from her front lawn. If ever you are in Solva, be sure to take the path to Upper Solva to check out Mrs Will the fish.

Superb little find, I went there spontaneously after seeing it on Google maps, didn't preorder but there were crabs available. Very friendly.

Took a few goes to order but it was definitely worth it. A gorgeous platter of prawns, crevettes and crab that lasted us for two meals. Tasted so fresh, amazing!

Visited Solva from 1st to 8th August and had two crab platters. Having been to Solva numerous times we knew what to expect and Jan didn't disappoint!

We have recently started to use Mrs Will as the shop We have used for the past 7 years closed last September. We were pleasantly surprised at the service and quality of the seafood. The dressed crab was superb as were the prawns. Ordered by phone on Wednesday afternoon for collection on Friday. Lovely lady who obviously takes pride in the preparation and presentation of her seafood. Our personal opinion is that Pembrokeshire Crab is as good as it gets and you probably won't find better. Reasonably priced for the quality, would highly recommend.

Stunning platter. Delicious and nicely presented. Worth a walk up the steep hill, then grab a pint in the Harbour Inn and enjoy a posh lunch on the small beach.

Lovely little take away fresh crab shop based in Mrs Will's house! We had some lovely dressed fresh crab which we made into sandwiches and it was delicious. Mrs Will is also lovely!

My husband brought me a lobster platter back in may for a treat and it was absolutely divine. The most delicious I’ve ever tasted. We’re back in st davids next week for my birthday and I will definitely be having some more. Highly recommended and really friendly people.

Fabulous platter with crab, lobster and prawns. Very good value at £35.00. Beautifully prepared, and we were ready to eat after a fun filled day at the beach. Great find as we were driving back to our home for the week. Good old road side signage works a treat!
