I heard great things about this place and it didn’t disappoint. The farm shop has such quality fresh produce 👍loads of choice as well. We had a scrummy lunch in the cafe as well. Friendly, efficient and very tasty. Great looking cakes but we didn’t have room. Wheelchair and pram friendly in the car park and inside.

Could spend a fortune here. Great range of fresh fruit and veg, butchers, wine shop, bread, cheese and much more.
And a great cafe, lovely food and friendly staff.
Well worth a visit and wish I lived nearer.

Always a terrific visit. Amazing produce, beautifully presented and has everything from fresh vegetables, meat, chutneys, pickles, jams and beers too. Plus a lovely cafe too

I really enjoy this huge farm shop that I always insist on visiting when down here seeing friends. Fantastic range of goods and specialty produce from all over Kent. The vegetable range is stunning and I love a suggested seasonal recipe so wild garlic quiche was made. The butchers is amazing and all locally sourced meat, the deli is packed with locally made cheese, chilli goats cheese being my absolute favourite. Add to that the assortment of plants for sale outside and a cafe, you could easily spend a few hours here, it’s just a delight! A lot more reasonable than you’d expect also! I’ll be back again and again!

A lovely place - more than just the Food Hall.
There's a fab coffee shop outside as well as inside, along with places to buy freshly made pizzas, crepes, katsu or burgers on certain days of the week, and they hold different events here as well - always worth looking at what's on offer through the year.

Only recently discovered this place.
My friend and I could spend ages there just eating nice foods, chilling out there whilst drinking coffee and people watching too.
Great place on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
The Food Hall is wonderful.
So much to choose from.
Some things appear a little pricey but the quality is there so you get what you pay for if good quality produce is what you're after.
Lovely staff throughout the place too...will definitely return whenever I can.

Large selection of produce within the main building. A wide selection of street food available outside.

The food hall offers a wide variety of meat, produce, cheeses, breads and more. Though not cheap, I was more than happy with the quality of what we bought and thought it offered good value for money. The food village outside offers a range of food vans; We only tried the crepes which were extremely good.

One of my favourite places to visit for good proper food and drink purchases.
The cafe and food market are amazing with so many events throughout the season. Time and Tide, WildBox and Al Taco all are a must have!

I love this place. Delicious food including Mediterranean specialities you can't get in the supermarket. A lovely feel about the place too and they do cute events for kids. Love it. After visiting I made this Caponata and these incredible meringues.

Quaint, rustic and well stocked farmers market full of all fresh, natural and organic food from locally sourced farms. We popped in as I'm told the sticky toffee pudding is the best in Kent, so I'll update this review once I've had some with my thoughts on that. Plenty of choice available and even a cafe on site, in addition to a large parking area out the front.

Where do you start with the praise!
What a fantastic local market store and more all in one place.
The range and choice of all the fruits, vegetables and artisan items is absolutely fantastic and it’s lovely to be able to come to places like this and buy items that are simply unavailable anywhere else in either large supermarkets or small shops.
There is a section for everything from wine store to charcuterie.
There’s a good choice of Vegan and Plant Based foods though IMO these could be labelled in a much better manner than they currently are. The only negative is the odd item found in supermarkets that’s quite a lot more than the others sell it at (sorry but it’s honest).
The food area is absolutely fantastic with a great choice of food and drinks as well as live music on a Friday from 6pm.
All in all, an excellent store that seems to be growing and going from strength to strength. 🤙

Fantastic food Hall with lots of delicious foods on offer. The flower section as you walk in is beautiful and the fresh produce around the shop all looks amazing. The butcher had a great range of meats too. I tried the roys rolls sausage roll, which tasted delicious and had a nice ratio of all butter puff to sausagemeat. There is also a lovely outdoor street food area with a range of vendors to try. Would definitely recommend.

A superb food produce retailer with a long history of service...one of the very best I've visited in the U.K. Macknade Food Hall Farm shop and village with 175 years of history ( established 1847), and renowned as the South- East's leading food Hall. On site waiting for you is the food Hall - comprising a delicatessen, butchery, florist, cafe, and on display shelved the finest in 'quality and quantity' of Kent's local very best food produce, farming and retailing on a grand scale. All here in Selling Road, just off the A2 London/ Canterbury Road, Faversham, Kent. A good spacious car park that caters for the disabled spaces close to an accessible entrance with toilets inside too. To be frank, you really cannot go wrong here to make even the most casual visit. My wife and I ( from Sidcup/ Bexley, Kent) visited here for our very first time on 1/7/22 around 3pm. Not surprised to see it moderately busy but with relaxing ease. Our God- daughter lives here local and shops here at Macknade. We did a combined day visit with Kent's ...'I estimate one of the most famous fruit farms in the world', at nearby Brogdale Farm in Brogdale Road (also just off the A2 Canterbury/ London Road) only just a few minutes drive away. I enjoyed an interesting conversation with the lady manager here at Macknade regarding how the business is progressing. Indeed, the staff very professional, friendly, polite and welcoming. Public transport is very close by the site, No.638 bus service to Faversham stops here, with connections to the town centre and Railway station - Network South Eastern operations. Yes, a great 👍 day enjoyed here and worth visiting both Macknade Food Hall and Brogdale Farm 🚜 for a day. An easy rating of A1, 10/10. My best wishes to both management and all the staff at Macknade...just simply keep going! My wife and I will definately return in the future at some point in time for us to obtain the wide variety of fresh food ingredients stocked here for our home cooking needs. Our shopping bag loaded when we departed from Macknade with produce at a great price, quality and value. Chris.👍👍👍👍👍

Honestly, I love Macknade Food Hall. Recently moved to Kent and found this near Faversham. It has been one of my essential go-to places and I have become a regular. Everyone is very friendly, great customer service and the selection is always great. It rivals any gourmet shop in London (if not better).

A little bit of on the more expensive side but the food huts were amazing from what we experienced and the variety in the shop itself was mind blowing. Worth a look !

A wonderful place, that we’re lucky to have nearby. I don’t buy an awful lot from Macknade as the prices are a bit high for me, but there are some items I go there specifically for as I can’t find them anywhere else locally.
Am always very impressed with how the staff are so welcoming and friendly, and always greet customers pleasantly, helping in any way they can.
On weekends and leading up to Bank holidays it can get really busy, but the till staff always stay calm and courteous even though they are under a lot of pressure with long queues of customers.

Lovely staff. Great variety of produce I would normally have to travel to London Borough Market to buy. Reasonable price for different goats cheese.

Very nice place to hunt for original and authentic Kent’s local food, including eggs, meat, vegetable, apple juices, honey and sauce.

Staff are really friendly!
