Can't comment on food (the wood fired pizza sounded good) but we dropped in for a couple of late Saturday afternoon bevvies and the ale was well kept. Traditional pub, no music but friendly, the landlady knew her stuff and was happy to offer her opinion on the beers. Must come back here. Bonus points for the idyllic beer garden and cat!

Great place and great informal atmosphere. Very welcoming staff and even a cat! Good selection of drinks for all tastes including low and zero alcohol options.

Some really good craft beer , served by the landlady who is a real character. Didn't eat but the pizza looked great.

Called in for the first time since moving into the area, all the correct precautions and procedures were in place following the recent government guidelines.

Asked for a pint of cider and was shocked by the amount of choice and different kinds. The atmosphere was just about right with regards to a quiet relaxing drink.

Delicious takeaway pizzas - lots of topping and lovely soft bases. If you like blue cheese try the blue cheese , pickled pear and walnut a really interesting twist on a standard pizza topping - absolutely excellent. Traditional Margherita on menu as well!

Cosy, well run village pub. Friendly, knowledgeable landlady, welcoming regulars, first class drinks on offer. Importantly, at the moment, excellent regime in place to combat Covid. Great place.

Such a nice little pub, very nice real ales and the pear cider they had on tap tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend this pub

Only been a couple of times. But each time I’m in I’m never disappointed. Love when I can get a good pint of Wolf on draught. Long may it continue.

Some of the best ales around with a fantastic range of ciders and gins . Cosy and traditional ,welcoming and dog friendly . Definitely one to try .

The oldest and arguably the best pub in the village. There's always a great selection of excellent real ales available.
