Lovely cafe, great food and friendly service :)

Great wee cafe, my family enjoyed a lovely lunch here, three children under 6 and a dairy and gluten intolerant adult. Really enjoyed our lunch after a walk along the river with the 3 dogs.

Very nice coffee but wouldn't recommend sitting outside. We did - and discovered that's gotta be the busiest junction in north east, lorries turning, traffic jams, cops and ambulances flying by deafening you with sirens...
Inside looked alright though 😊

First visit and definitely not the last, food absolutely delicious and they serve fabulous coffees. Also super friendly staff I will be re visiting this place and highly recommend it.

Lovely little Café in the heart of the village, the staff were very welcoming and the food was very well cooked, the Café itself was very clean and comfortable, I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area.

A lovely place with lots of charm and character. Good food choices and fab hot chocolate. Enjoyed the visit.

Beautifully decorated café. Furniture was very comfortable. Crockery/ cutlery were of a higher standard than you would expect from somewhere at this price point.
Bacon and egg breakfast sandwich very ell prepared on lovely bread.

A pleasant little eatery, serving the Town and local area, as we'll as the many Tourists and Walkers who have made their way here. It has a varied menu to suit the majority of tastes, and the food is prepared fresh, so expect a short wait if busy.

We visited this coffee shop for the first time and were really pleased to find that it was dog friendly. The menus were stuck onto the tables, which I thought was a great idea, much better than looking at dog-eared paper ones. The service was very prompt but as we wanted to take our time deciding what to order, the waiter brought us over a pot of much needed tea. We ordered sandwiches which were freshly made and served with a can of chips that were cooked to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again.
