We had a gorgeous lunch here with our little
Ones and friends. The food so delicious. The staff were so friendly and accommodating -
Chatting to the children and helping to keep them entertained with colouring while we ate. The chef is fabulous. Absolutely loved our visit and can’t wait to come back ❤

After many successful years in Prudhoe, the owners relocated to Corbridge some years ago. Today, it's bloomed further into a real destination Italian restaurant & wine bar in the oasis of the Tyne Valley. Tasty live entertainment is also on the menu from time to time. The easiest way to review this place is to advise you to go & enjoy the experience - soon.

I had a fabulous dining experience at this restaurant with my family members. We ordered 2 starters and 4 mains including mussels, aubergine, lamb rump, seafood spaghetti, beef pizza and tortelllone, They are all very delicious. The staffs are kind, polite and friendly. Will definitely go again when I next visit New Castle.

We went here for New years eve. Absolutely fantastic evening. Food drink entertainment and service were outstanding.

Meal tonight was absolutely amazing. Great service . Lovely section of wines . Had the fillet steak. Cooked to perfection. Will definitely return when next in the area .

An extremely good meal enjoyed by all four of us

We had a post funeral thanksgiving so buffet style meal. Food was excellent, fresh and very tasty. The supporting staff were very polite and assiting. If I was ever back in Corbridge I would visit agsin. Very cheap on road parking nearby.

The staff in here are amazing. The service was brilliant. So helpful and friendly. Called in Friday night and even though it was really busy they managed to get us a table. The food was beautiful and piping hot. Definitely recommend x

We dined here twice while staying for a week in the local area.There is a great atmosphere. A combination of a real buzz and a relaxed approach.The menu is varied and caters well for vegetarians such as me.The food was delicious. The service was excellent.Attentive and friendly. I would certainly make sure to visit again if I am in the area.

Five star experience on our first visit to this lovely restaurant last night. Staff are exceptional, very welcoming and attentive. Food and wine was first class, some inventive dishes on offer along with the traditional Fayre. The best Italian meal we have ever had, highly recommend.

Excellent Italian food, lovely family atmosphere, definitely recommend (do book a table in advance, the place is tiny and very popular - which is justified!). Will be coming back

Came here for a Saturday dinner with family. Very friendly staff who were always on hand to chat with. Food tasted great with good amount of food, definitely would recommend the Tiramisu.

We've now had three meals at Il Piccolo since lockdown rules were relaxed and all of them were lovely and we felt both welcomed and safe. Tables are well spread, with the precautions that you would expect. Great to be able to enjoy authentic good food and drink in a friendly restaurant.

Recently had two pizzas from Il Piccola and they were excellent. High standards maintained for takeaway in these strange times. Available at the agreed time and the taste as always is still even now mouth watering.

Had an amazing mother & nannas day lunch last weekend.
The food was delicious & the service was great as usual & they were very attentive to my 99 year old nanna. See you again soon 😃
