Lovely pub in a great setting and an idea base for walks into the base of the Quantocks. Good food and drinks, with very friendly staff.

Lovely food served by lovely people. Extra care and attention paid to our furry friend - including a doggy menu, doggy towels and blankets and free treats too!
Traditional British homemade food in a pleasant, clean environment. Extremely reasonably priced too!

We were in the area for a wedding and this place was absolutely superb!
Turned up on a Sunday evening and we managed to order food which, to say the least, was absolutely fantastic. Great portions and all homemade. Magic.
Price wise very reasonable, with fantastic friendly local staff and a jolly good local atmosphere.
Ample parking and great facilities.
Thank you all for a great time, we will 100% be back!

Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. One of the best garlic breads I've ever had.

Plenty of space to park and incredibly dog friendly; they even have a doggy menu! Would absolutely recommend them.

Was recommended this lovely pub and it certainly didn't disappoint!
We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a better venue.
The pub is cozy, the staff are, attentive and helpful and food was incredible. All home made, plenty of it, fantastic quality and flavors, so much choice as well.
Will definitely go back
If you've not tried it yet book yourself a table.!

Visited on a Sunday evening for dinner and very surprised at how extremely busy it was (glad we booked, the staff were turning away walk ins for food). Having said that we could not fault the attentive staff and quality of food. The four stars for service is only because the food delivery seemed delayed a while due to volume of customers, otherwise cannot fault the pub. Will visit again when in the area and can recommend a visit.

Amazing! Great food, great staff and if our dog could give a review she'd give it ten stars. She was thoroughly spoilt.
The garlic bread was to die for. What a great find.
Would thoroughly recommend.

We had just done a reasonably long walk from Holford to Klive Beach and on the way back with the dog’s we decided to have a drink, having looked at the menu, we also decided to have an Halloumi Flatbread, it was huge! Also extremely tasty, luckily we shared the meal, but still couldn’t finish it all. They are dog friendly and gave our two exhausted dog’s some biscuits. We are staying locally and our hotel provides us the evening meals, but if it didn’t we definitely would have used this pub for our meals. They also have a doggy menu either for treats or a meal.

They kindly let us do a pub stop over in our motorhome as we got stuck finding a campsite. What a treat! The food was amazing! Definitely will return.

Plenty of GF options.
Chicken kebab with honey sriracha and BBQ hit the spot. Chocolate torte with custard to top it off. Relaxed atmosphere and lots of light. Enjoyed our visit 👍🏼

Came on the off chance with a party of 6 and a dog. Great service, garden with tables in the shade (needed as hot today) and extensive menu. Plough Burger was amazing, thai noodles for the vegetarians had a delicious flavour. Scampi went down exceptionally well

Really lovely place to drink or eat.
We had loaded nachos the burger and loaded mac n cheese. Amazing sized portions and very tasty... both the nachos and mac n cheese are recommended.... the burger eater liked the burger but wished they had the nachos 😁😁😁

Popped in for lunch and a pint after a nice walk on the Quantocks.

There was a warm welcome as soon as we walked in. The staff even brought over a bowl of water & a treat for the dog.

I had Belly Pork, potatoes and red cabbage. My partner had Sea Bass, potatoes and green beans. Both meals were absolutely delicious.

I will definitely be visiting the Plough Inn again on our next walk.

We have been coming to this pub for about ten years, my parents have a caravan stored at the nearby moorhouse farm campsite.

The staff are so friendly, polite and provide such a good service.

The drinks are a great price, pinot blush is £14 a bottle, San Miguel and thatchers haze is about £4 a pint.

I had the 12oz sirloin, and was not disappointed! We also had the half chicken, the gammon and the chicken thigh burger, all portions are monstrous!

We adore this pub and will be returning!

The first time in a while that I and my family have been to a pub.
We were staying about 10 minutes away and after searching around locally, we decided on the Plough Inn.
I rang and enquired about booking and was advised best to do so.
We arrived, got our drinks and sat at our table. We ordered our mains, which were delicious.
We then went on to dessert. My two had the brownie sundae and I had the chocolate and pistachio torte.
The food was really good, the service was excellent and the the value for money was fab.
I would have taken more photos but we had already started tucking in 😊
Perfect sized portions for.kids (scampi was my daughters)
