The Full Pitcher

I've passed this pub many times on my way home. Today, popped in for lunch and was gasping for a cup of coffee. Instant.....Yes. I so wanted a coffee. It was instant but was sooo nice. I had 2. The food I had was Ham, 2 eggs, chips and peas. It was piled up. My partner had Steak baguette, again loads of it. Priced at £9.95. amazing value. The value for money was worth every penny. £9.95, I would have paid £12.95 with the quality. Our server Ellie I think. Polite, friendly and on the button and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for lunch, I will definitely be returning next time I pass.

Have lived in the area a few weeks and thought we would venture to the local with visiting family. We were greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival. Food was one of the best meals we have have. Large portions and all freshly cooked.

We decided just to pop in for a quick light lunch and was surprised how big the portions were. The baguette was freshly baked and the chips just out the fryer. Presentation was fantastic and even better it was just under £9. Definitely would recommend!

Decided to go out for some food. Lived in the area for years but never been here. We arrived at about 1pm. The pub does a great Sunday lunch I have been told. Lots of spare tables. The pub had a warm feel and the staff are very friendly. The food was really good. Served on hot plates. I would fully recommend you go here to try the Carvery. It's top notch. Lovely fresh hot food. Service was good. If your passing and pop in, you won't be disappointed. Thanks guys. 😁

Just ordered jacket potato and tuna salad. Generous portions. Also Steak and all the trimmings, cooked to perfection.

Had a very pleasant lunch here. Food was excellent (Baked potatoes) Staff were friendly and helpful. This business is now under very new management and all earlier negative reviews no longer apply.

Visited this venue for Sunday lunch. Arrived 12.00 and although waitress told us we should have booked we were found a table. The food, we had the standard carvery was excellent, well cooked, very tasty and well presented. I asked for a selection of meats and the chef presented me with good size slices of beef, pork, gammon and turkey. Portion sizes very generous so could not manage a desert. The pub stocked a good range of lagers, ciders and ales at a very fair price. Would certainly recommend this pub but recommend booking as it gets very busy for Sunday lunch.

We had a lovely Sunday roast. 100% recommend them. You can have a bit of each, yesterday they have turkey, beef, pork and gammon. The beef was absolutely amazing. Great choice of vegetables. I wish they would do lamb.

Amazing food and hospitality. I had a vegetable lasagne and side chips and it was delicious, perfect portion and good prices too. It's family run, and they certainly put their hearts into the food, the service and overall place 💜 ☺

We not been to the Full Pitcher for years but must say it was great to go back today for a Thursday lunch time it was quite at first but did get busy after a well food was excellent very good size portions and well cooked the landlady and staff and don’t forget chase the dog could not have made us fell more welcome would highly recommend the full pitcher going to try the carvery on Sunday

Had a really lovely 3 course meal for mothers day lovely fresh hot food nice selection and good dessert menu too .quick service and lovely friendly staff we will definitely return.

My faith is restored in customer service. From first entering to a smiling, helpful barman to Donna's "nothing is a problem" attitude when we wanted to share a main meal and take away our cheeseboard. If only all bar staff and landlords/ladies could be as hospitable. Absolute pleasure and will definitely visit again and recomend to our friends.

Poped in for a lunch the food was absolutely beautiful, the staff friendly and a awesome sausage dog walking around

We love this place. Support your local pub and be kind to them as they transition in a very difficult covid era. They make fantastic burgers and the garden area in the back is unmatched. Highly recommend this place.

Called in on the way home from Hereford. Had cheese burger and chips with bacon. Very tasty with a lovely juicy thick burger. Plenty of chips on the side. Definitely recommend if passing friendly staff and nice clean pub with plenty of parking.

Only had a pack of scampi crisps, so cant speak for the food.went there in a week day,which was quiet really, but the hospitality and service was good

First time visiting with family since new management. The carvery was really yummy, all good hot, lovely vegetables and a good range of options. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Cheesecake just wow !

Great pub food, warm friendly atmosphere. I would certainly recommend.

I had a pit stop here and I wasn't disappointed! Absolutely amazing food! Would highly recommend on Turkey pie😋
