Ashton Physiotherapy Modbury

This was my third visit to to see Mike at Ashton Physiotherapy in Modbury. Each visit has been extremely informative, and really beneficial. All of the session have been completely tailored around my existing injuries, to help find a solution that works best for me. Nothing is too daunting about a visit here, as you are in a very calm and relaxed environment, being looked after by an experienced physiotherapist.

Attended first appointment with Mike and found him very professional and thorough. Took time talking through my neck problem following a car accident and undertook some treatment to be continued. Would definitely recommend.

Treatment has continued and feeling so much better. Have seen both Mike and Eve and both excellent. Thanks for all your continuing help.

Mike helped me with my back injury as a result of a car accident. He built me a great plan to help overcome my pain and discomfort which I will continue to use even after my sessions have ended. Mike was kind, courteous, considerate and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone - and should I have to use a physio therapist again (I hope not) I wouldn't hesitate in going back to Mike.

Saw Mike Ashton again today. An extremely helpful physio. He puts you at ease, he is very respectful of you, it's a relaxed atmosphere in super clean surroundings This is my 2nd visit for continued issues this month, i have seen Mike for various things over the last 4/5 yrs, with Mike's help I have resolved injuries , wear n tear issues over the years so has my partner, I have a lovely exercise programme ,which i can achieve, there are videos of these, all tailored around your own issues. I have felt a definite improvement , Mike listens to you , offers great advice and is not pushy, the locations of his treatment rooms are easy to get to with paid parking near by.

My session with Mike was really excellent - he did a thorough assessment of my shoulder, gave it some treatment and taught me some exercises to support the ongoing repair. He is professional, friendly and supportive. Perfect!

Thoroughly impressed by Mike. He took a careful history of my injuries and a skilful assessment and after explaining the problems he gave me a series of helpful exercises. Highly recommended!

Mike, thankfully, made a virtually pain-free assessment of my painful knee and calf muscles. He gave a clearly explained diagnosis, prescription of a course of exercises and advice on further potential treatment options. His manner is personable and wholly professional.

Mike works through the issue with you to diagnose and isolate the problem. Good to know I had done no lasting damage to my knee, but Mike gave me a set of exercises, each adapted to suit what hurt and what didn't, so I could get myself back to full fitness as soon as possible.

So I was sent hear with whiplash.. seriously in pain ...I have been recieving acupuncture..and Exercises for physio and it's made a massive difference... Highly recommended...Very professional Family business and Make you feel so welcomed... explaining everything... clearly...easy to follow instructions.... Recommend a visit ...

My last session with Michael Ashton was very helpful, especially as I was pretty shaken up following an accident a few days earlier. Michael gives excellent advice and I have every confidence in his diagnostic skills to improve any physical condition. I highly recommend him as the best Physiotherapist.

I went to Micheal with a few ongoing niggles, relating to older injuries. Micheal straight away put me at ease, listened and assessed, made a diagnosis and and within a few hours sent a link with videos of prescribed exercises to alleviate the niggles. Great consultation. Would definitely recommend Aston Physiotherapy.

After 5 sessions I feel much better and quite confident that I can avoid a repeat of my back injury. I have an exercise program that I am happy to repeat virtually every day for the foreseeable future and I know Michael will support me if I need further physio. Thank you Michael for being so friendly and professional.

Really, really worthwhile. Michael was excellent. I walked in with a very painful shoulder condition.I walked out with peace of mind that this problem could be solved, considerably more knowledge of the problem and a programme to help resolve the issue. Thorough, professional, considerate and knowledgable - I can't recommend Michael enough.

Eve really is outstanding. Couldn’t recommend enough. I had a ‘mummy MOT’ a year ago and that was the best postnatal decision I ever made and have recently seen her again and again she’s been absolutely fabulous!

I cannot recommend Mike enough. A combination of hands on treatment and a comprehensive exercise plan have significantly improved pain in my lower back and shoulder.

Just a short appointment to assess a shoulder issue which has dragged on. Quickly worked out the problem and given some exercises to do. Feels better already. Highly recommend

I have found my course of physio with Eve extremely helpful. I can now go up and down stairs like a grown up instead of one at a time. Thank you very much.
