GAIL's Bakery Godalming

Nice selection of pastries, lunch bits and sweet things, everything looked tasty so we took a while to choose. Staff were also really friendly, glad we stopped here

Best non-flower choco cake I’ve tasted! Great coffee as well. The Pastrami Bagel could use some cheese though.

Gail’s has the best coffee and the best staff in Godalming! Yes, it can get quite busy, but the wait is well worth it. Their chocolate croissants in the morning are heavenly. Really warm, friendly team - love coming here!

Cute bakery, we sat outside and it was a lovely little sun trap!

It’s a little pricey but the staff are friendly, atmosphere is nice, food is delicious… so you get what you pay for. Both sweet and savouries are lovely, they also use reduced sugar in a lot of their sweets. Their brownies are a great after dinner treat with a few seconds I’m the microwave and a small dollop of fresh cream.

I absolutely love Gail's in Godalming. Much better than the other Gail's I have visited, the staff are always so friendly and polite. Tasha who served me today was a delight. And of course, great coffee and food.

Wonderful to have a GAIL’s in Godalming!! Today was the first day of opening, and the place looks fantastic and has a wonderful back garden area. The staff are great and very friendly. They were coping very well with the hustle and bustle of a first day of opening. I had the avocado on toast with an oat milk latte and both were fabulous! Can’t wait to come back soon. X

My new favourite work/sip spot! We have no shortage of coffee shops around here, but Gail’s really is lovely. Big bright windows, friendly staff, tasty coffee both hot and cold, and delicious pastries both sweet and savoury and even a selection of cakes. My bank balance and waist line are suffering but my happiness is sky high!

So so glad that GAIL's has come to Godalming. As I work from home I enjoy a change of scenery and this cafe is the perfect place to go. Often busy but the staff are always lovely. I am working my way through the menu and everything I have tried so far has been delicious (the cinnamon buns are particularly great). The coffee is delicious and always served with a smile. Diani and Stacey and the team are just fab. Anyone leaving a negative review should probably bear in mind that this is a new cafe and they are bound to have teething issues, especially with how busy they have been since opening!

Great food and variety changes according to the time of the day (breakfast, lunch, brunch). Coffee is really good in my humble opinion. Super lovely staff. Can't recommend it more.

Since the bakery has been open, all of the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. But the manager, Chelsea, goes over and above to ensure everything is done to perfection. Taking care of customers and staff at the same time

Wonderful service. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming - a big shout out needs to go to Tash who always goes the extra mile in helping out customers - and you can always count on a great coffee and pastry!

Visited Gail's for the first time and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome. Chelsea served us and nothing was to much trouble , she certainly is a credit to the company. We will certainly be going back and will be recommending Gail's to our Friends and Family
