Escomb Nature Reserve

We all love it here especially Ella as she can go in the lake .very peaceful and relaxing .could do with some seats though

I live very close to here, and just discovered these lakes. I find great comfort in being able to go here on any day of the week and feel like I am in another country. Fabulous place x

Loverly lake we went to paddle board and took the dog. Plenty of places to launch the board from. We have been back plenty of times looking forward to returning soon.

Nice little walk around the lake. Picked done hazelnuts of the trees. Might bring my paddle board one day

This is a beautiful place to walk round and ollie loved it, it is a shame that other people feel the need to drop there bags of poo and all manner of other recyclable and non recyclable rubbish literally everywhere.
Places don't stay beautiful if you don't treat them with care, we have all the information these days and it is accessible to everyone so there is no excuse for such ignorance.
Don't litter, use a bin, it's that simple.

Love walking around the lake at Escomb, all seasons alone, with someone or with the dog.
Nice bike ride to Escomb too from Bishop.
Friendly Pub in Escomb to stop off for a drink.

Beautiful lake and area, I walked round the lake often, people were swimming there and others were kayaking. A really lovely place

Great walk keeps both my dogs happy. 1 loves to swim & 1 loves to run. Friendly fishermen too.

Great place to dog walk. You can do the old Saxon trail which is a small circular starting and ending at the Saxon church mentioned apparently in the doomsday book
