Lavender Coffee & Crumbs

My first visit. I took my mum and puppy in for a wee treat. It's lovely and the cakes are delicious! My puppy enjoyed the biscuits in the jar! She did bark, but only wanted to play with the other dog there! Thank you! A wee gem of a coffee shop.

Popped in on my way past to get a takeaway flat white. Had to leave a review because it’s one of the best I’ve had in ages! Really good quality coffee, expertly done milk and actually hot! Lovely friendly staff too, I’ll be back to sit in and try the food.

Lovely little cafe! Bright, spacious, and clean. Staff were polite and attentive. Vegan-friendly and baby/buggy friendly too (there is just one step to get in through the front door) and a couple of high chairs available for use. Veggie options can be made vegan with vegan butter and cheese. There is also always 1 or 2 vegan cakes available. And oat milk for drinks. I had an iced oat latte which was delicious and served in a glass with a paper straw, and a toasted ciabatta. I had to feed my baby after this and the lovely staff offered me some water while I was breast-feeding which was a really nice gesture and much appreciated.
There is one unisex disabled toilet with a baby changing station - immaculately clean.
Will definitely be back again soon! :)

We went for lunch today and had the blue cheese and peppers ciabatta, and a ham and cheese toastie. Both of them were absolutely amazing! The combination of flavours was perfect. We also took some homemade white chocolate cake and banoffe pie home, both extremely good!
The new owner is lovely and made us feel at home. It's also dog friendly! We will definitely come back!

Little tiny coffee shop with 6 tables. I really liked their Honey cake and chai Latte is so good. Appearance of shop, cups and menu really impressive. Only disappointed is we waited for more than 30 mins to get our coffee to the table. Apart from that everything went perfect.

And tried their porridge bowl it’s really nice. Totally worth place to visit.

Had lunch today, toasties and coffee and it was first class.Lovely atmosphere, staff very attentive and were aware of allergies and provided gluten free options. Will definitely return, lovely place, well done.

Lavender Coffee & Crumb is a rare but very pleasant experience for me. I should go more often. Nice atmosphere in a town with limited cafes above greasy spoon level. Good coffees, very good meals and excellent cakes. Friendly lovely staff who are helpful. Gets busy at times so might have to book, but pop in anyway.

Went in for tea and cake, was blown away, everything was homemade and delicious. Highly recommend the scones!!! Kids had cake and cheesecake and were delighted with their choices- verdict - yum yum yum!!

The best cake ever! Would highly recommend going if you fancy proper homemade cake and tea! The service was lovely and the place was amazing! 10/10 would rate higher if I could!

Once again we've been bowled over by the delicious sandwiches here! We had a falafel, chili cheese and pineapple panini which was honestly one of the most delicious sandwiches we've ever eaten! Everything made lovingly with great care and attention to detail. We'll be back again very soon!

This is our local for coffee. Staff very friendly.
We dine in and get take away. Home baking is delicious. Good choice on menu for breakfast and lunch. White chocolate cake my particular favourite but really everything is of top quality. Vegan chocolate cake given top marks by my non vegan son.

We tried Lavander's afternoon tea yesterday, and it was incredible!! The food was superb, fresh, delicious and a lot of it!! :) All done in the most delicate and caring way! We mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and the staff made it all even more special for us with tasteful decorations and kind congratulations.
It was a wonderful experience, and we even had yummy leftovers to take home and enjoy, which they carefully packaged for us.

I cannot recommend this place enough, not just for the delicious locally sourced food, but also for how well you are treated and cared for by the awesome staff.

First visit today. Lovely scones, coffee and milkshake. So many other things we want to try will definitely go back.

If we could give 10 out of 5, we would!!!! The best lentil soup and Victoria sponge on the planet. White chocolate cake with home made jam is just heavenly and it melts in your mouth. Milena's lavender scones are so tasty and delicate.
The staff are attentive, polite and caring.
