Disabled access-yes buy when inside you can view the first metre of stuff worth a look(kerb Width)till there more stairs to navigate which is worth it if you can for a brief time .
Very polite and gave me the exact location of the obscure item I thought least likely for them to have but yes the were in stock and exactly where she said,I'm assuming this is the old name for hardware store,PLEASE advise if possible, thankyou

An amazing shop that has never failed to have exactly what I need in the moment. Newtongrange is a better place just for having a place like this as a part of their community.

This may be my favourite shop in the city I like to tinker on various projects from electric motors to motorcycle restoration and wood working & this store has all the bits & pieces you might need (except the actual timber). Apologies I know this is a massive review but it's worth it and doesn't cover most of what this shop stocks :-).

You may have to dig around for what you need however that's part of what makes it fun because you will find other bits you had forgotten you needed or a part that solves a problem holding you up on another project.

Don't panic if rooting around or scanning the shelves is not your idea of fun, or you are in a rush, simply ask the owner Sharif where something is he will be able to tell you exactly where to look as he has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the products he sells and where they are.

He is a very intelligent man fixing screens on phones/tablets, changing watch batteries, installing/updating software on computers/laptops (if you are having issues doing it yourself) along with other skilled phone fixes at reasonable prices. He is very friendly and happy to offer advice about what product you might need to resolve your challenge AND he has Coca Cola in glass bottles ha-ha!

I went here to have to have a battery changed in my wife phone. A very nice gentleman served myself, I left my phone with him to pick up next day!! He got it spot on, the battery replaced and working great my wife was delighted!! This shop has a really good stock of household goods of great variety for around the home at good prices, so its worth a visit if you are in the area.

This shop has most things you could want in a hardware store. Only downside is cannot carry huge stock of paint colours. Only due to size of shop. For most other things brilliant shop and owner knows exactly where it is in the shop and is always very helpful 😀

Well Stocked shop,Called & enquired about a wireless doorbell, after my father in laws doorbell failed,was told yes we stock them,we were located close by, happily spend money with a local independent business,I thought they were very reasonably priced,they also do hardware & phone accessories,The staff are very helpful! Well done folks!

If you are into DIY this is the place to go in Newtongrange for hand tools, fixtures and fittings. You will also find cleaning products for home and car, paint,brushes for same and for home cleaning use. Batteries, light bulbs, baskets,bins and a heck of a lot more. You can also top up your PAYG phone,get screen protectors or get it repaired if needed. My kind of shop!

This small store has always had every item I need. I live 2 miles away and a hardware shop is a 30 second walk from my home. Ideal store has better quality goods and priced very fair. The owner always has a hello for everyone. A credit to small shop owners.

The owner is a lovely man. He can fix broken and damaged phones, tablets and laptops at a very very reasonable price (much cheaper than other repair shops). You can also find DIY products here as it is primarily a hardware store. It also socks tobacco products.

Very well stocked shop.very helpfull staff.everything for all your DIY jobs about the house.reasonable prices.

It's one of these great places that has shelves packed full of stuff. I've found lots of things I need as well as random stuff I didn't know I needed.

Mr Sharriff is a very helpful guy and as all the reviews I’ve read say if you can’t get it here it probably doesn’t exist. Fantastic shop
