Loved the 6week social course in Harpenden, it played such a huge part in my postnatal journey. It encouraged me to get out when my baby was a couple of weeks old and really improved my confidence as a new (first time) mum. Each week offered the chance to have honest discussions with other mums and I learned so much from the specialists - I’d definitely recommend this course!

I attended the 6Week Social sessions with my second baby when he was 4 weeks old as I didn't do an antenatal class this time round and wanted to meet other local mums. I mainly joined for the social aspect but also found the guest speakers each week very interesting and informative, and our facilitator Emily was super friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend this course to new mums!

I joined 6 Week Social when my little one was 9 weeks. She is my first and everyone recommended the antenatal classes to meet people, so I saw this as the same but for postnatal. I can't recommend this enough as the ladies were wonderful, the experts who came to talk on each subject were super helpful and Emily was the most gracious host. We enjoyed it so much I've signed up for the new 6 Week Social Plus!

I joined 6 week social when my daughter was 2 weeks old and it encouraged me to get back out and into a routine. The sessions were amazing and so nice to chat with other new mums. Looking forward to 6 weeks social+

6WS is a great way of bringing new mums together to share our experiences and support each other through those tricky first few months. There are guest speakers each week who address the main issues facing new mums and we were all able to talk and ask questions in a very supportive, non-judgmental environment. Would recommend for any new mums in the area!

Attended just after I had my second baby (we moved between baby’s 1 and 2 so I didn’t know anyone locally). The course was interesting and for first time Mum’s would be really useful - it was a nice refresher for me but most importantly, I met other new Mum’s who lived nearby. We are still in touch in a WhatsApp group nearly daily and see each other most weeks and our babies are now toddlers. The pre-formed whatsapp group and pre-booked coffee after the classes meant that it was easier to get to know everyone. Tracy was our course leader and she was lovely, very friendly and the course instructors were very knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend to new Mums.

6 week social Hertford was brilliant. Having moved recently to the area it was a great way to meet local mums with babies of a similar age group and a good mix first second times mums. JoJo is a fab and hugely knowledgeable facilitator of the sessions, and the experts each week were a great way to learn new things and update my knowledge.

Second time Mum and I started the 6WS when my second baby was around 5- weeks old. All 6 weeks were so useful, interesting, thought provoking and sometimes emotional! The company of the other mums, Jojo and the various “guest speakers” felt like being wrapped in a big supportive hug of understanding and acceptance! Would recommend to any mother of a newborn

The 6 week social has been a massive game changer for me. I was unable to do any nct or baby classes due to being sick and new to the area and felt like I’d really missed out. When I joined the 6ws I was able to meet other mums and learn a lot from each session. I’ve really found a community now which has made me enjoy being a mum even more !

I couldn’t recommend 6week Social more highly. Very different from any antenatal and postnatal course I have done. The most helpful sessions not only about baby but me. I learnt so much in such a nurturing environment. Made some great friend and connected to the local Harpenden community. I did the course as a second time mum and was hesitant at first but it was great for me as second time mum.

I’m so grateful I found the six week social. It’s a fantastic space to meet mums who are on the same journey as you. As a first time mum, it gave me the confidence to find my feet and get out and about in those early days. The facilitators are so welcoming and the speakers each week cover some insightful topics. Thank you 6WS Hitchin x

I’m so glad I found out about 6WS ahead of giving birth - I really felt like it gave me that community of mums in the same situation as me. The speakers each week were all relevant and interesting, and Jojo, who ran the course is a super-mum and font of all knowledge - A fabulous person to know in those early weeks. I particularly like that 6WS isn’t just for first time mums, as some groups are. In fact there’s really nothing else like it in the local area! A must for new mums whether you’re on baby #1 or not!!

I've joined 6WS twice now (with both babies) and absolutely loved it. Its such a good course for new (and 2nd+ time) mums as creates space to reflect on the motherhood journey and make new friends along the way. I'd highly recommend it!

I found the 6 week social invaluable. As a second time mum it was fantastic meeting other mums with babies of similar ages and also hearing from a speaker each week, not only helped for practical reasons but also helped in getting to know the other mums better. Tracey is so kind, supportive, non-judgmental & welcoming. I found the 6 week social so much more helpful compared to the other mum classes/courses I've attended (both pre & post pregnancy ones) and I highly recommend the 6 week social!

6 Week Social has been a fantastic way to meet other Mum’s, get knowledge from different weekly speakers, socialise, open up & share with people who are going through the same things as you. As a first time Mum and relatively new to the area, it’s been a great way to make friends. I now have a lovely group of people who are a support network and can get advice from.
Huge thanks to Tracey and I hope I can get myself onto 6 Weeks Social Plus in a few months time

So pleased I signed up for this. In the early days of newborn life when the babies aren’t really ready for baby classes as such, it was so nice to have a group to attend, to chat to other sleep deprived mums and have experts deliver sessions on some really interesting topics, but in a really relaxed setting.

6 week social was a lifesaver for me! Having just moved to Hitchin with my partner and 5 month old baby I was looking for places to meet other mums. 6 week social was a great mix of meeting new people and learning from the weekly speakers. I’m so glad it has continued online during lockdown as it’s been a fantastic space to connect, learn and chat! Rebecca is such a warm, friendly person, I definitely recommend signing up if you are a new mum or soon to be mum!

Six Week Social was the best course I’ve done. It really looks after new Mums and is a great way to meet other local Mums too. The course I was on had to go online half way through because of lockdown but although it wasn’t face to face, it was still great. I felt like I got the same support online that I would have gotten attending in person. Would highly recommend to any new Mum, whether you are a first time Mum or a Mum to more than one. I wish I’d known about it with my first baby! Thank you Rebecca, I’ve loved every session!

I participated in 6 week social in Harpenden after having my second baby and recently moving to the area. It was a great way to meet other Mums going through similar challenges and the specialists each week provided useful information to support my journey as mum of two. Tracey also has a wealth of knowledge to share and I will miss seeing her every week!

I only have positive things to say about everything Six Week Social.

My first baby arrived prematurely so I missed out on the usual ‘meet and greet’ opportunities with other mums to be so I signed up to Six Week Social (after seeing it advertised by chance). With the UK going into lockdown shortly afterwards I didn’t know what to expect when the face to face sessions were cancelled and moved online.

Every week I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to and learning from the experts selected and Rebecca’s warmth and enthusiasm for supporting new mums shines through the whole course.

In addition to this I’ve loved meeting and getting to know my ‘village’ of amazing mums who have been such a source of support and friendship (through the good and not so good days).

I can’t wait to watch our babies grow up together :)
