Northlands Park is a hidden gem in Basildon!

The park is beautifully maintained with plenty of open green spaces, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing walk or a family picnic.

The large lake is a highlight, attracting a variety of wildlife, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. There’s also a great playground for kids, which my little ones absolutely loved.

The park feels safe and welcoming, and there's ample parking nearby. Whether you're looking for a quiet escape in nature or a place to let the kids run around, Northlands Park has something for everyone.

Huge open green field combined with twin lakes make this park an ideal place for nature lovers to hang around in a sunny afternoon. Free parking, plenty of space. Kids playgrounds has got lots of rides, along with a basketball court and skating area. Circular pathway around the lake for jogging, cycling etc with lots of benches for sitting. Few fountains added beauty to the lakes. There are plenty of fishing spots around the lakes. There’s a cafe inside the park as well. Complete package 😁.

Great recreational area, really beautiful. Plenty to do including two play areas, skate board ramps and a basketball court. Fishing free on the lakes and platforms around lakes for ease of use. We'll surfaced around main path but also lots of off tarmac areas. Great little cafe that takes card. Free parking. Ideal for children and families

A great family and fun space. We attend ParkPlay sessions here each Saturday and often take bikes to ride around on for hours afterwards. There's a little pavillion which is good for food drinks and ice creams at reasonable prices too.

Good dog walking area, cafe that is open some of the time, has two fishing lakes, kids play area and toilets, they have recently up upgraded the fishing swims and connecting paths, as well as the bridge across the west lake to access the far west swims

Beautiful park. Very well looked after, lots of hidden places to explore. Ducks and swans on the lake. Friendly cafe shame can't sit inside anymore.

Lovely place to go with a young family. Just done up the park, lovely walk round the lake where you can feed the ducks, coots and swans. Very reasonable cafe, friendly staff.

Great place for kids and dogs. Perfect in all weathers. They have no refurbished the bridge and widening the path

Beautiful location I must say. Nice view. Especially the water fountain in the middle if the lake, with the ducks and other birds in the lake.

Wonderful park, super walks, well maintained and preserved park and lake. Super cafe with extensive menu and lovely staff. Perfect for solo walk in nature, families to bring young ones to play in the designated play area. Great for dog walks too, although dogs must be kept on lead as lots of wildlife.

Great open space for the kids. Playgrounds for younger and older ages. Cafe good when open. Nice fishing lake, with good paths for walking around.

This is a lovely Park with a Lake, Cafe....Bus Stop outside, which is First Bus Number 5

Beautiful and spacious. Various activities like playground for little ones, basketball court, skate park, big field etc. I used to do my Kangoo Jumps® classes there.

Play areas for toddlers and older kids, park shop, fishing lake, good for a cycle too.
