We had a wonderful time staying in one of the lodges. Very clean, comfortable and lovely little touches they provide. We enjoyed the hot tub and sunbathing on the decking. Walks around the heath in the evening were enjoyable too. Beach 10 minutes drive with gorgeous sand and pub with quality food.
Amazing time had by all. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely holiday site in the heart of Suffolk. We stayed in the Shepherds Hut which was perfect for me and my Daughter. The site is surrounded by beautiful countryside and you have Southwold only 5 miles away and you have some really great pubs nearby too. I will definitely be visiting this place again.

Very quiet. Deep in the country with a pub 10 mins. walk. Shop onsite, good for basics and not pricey. Very roomy lodge adequately equipped. A very relaxing holiday. Short drive to the rowing boat ferry and a quick trip across the river to the Sole Bay fish company. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Not usually a fan of "site" holidays but off peak this was perfect! Amazingly spacious lodge which I assumed would be static caravan size, but pleasantly surprised. Private hot tub. Maintenance team on site for any minor issues soon resolved. Good shop. For families with younger kids, I could imagine the shepherd's huts and caravan pitches being awesome in the summer. Local walks and only a short drive from a number of brilliant pubs and restaurants 👏

Just wanted to say how absolutely amazing our stay was we have just left and had Lodge 6 if anyone's worried about you being over looked while in the hottub believe me you won't be it's truly amazing there lodges are spaced out and have trees around each lodge to block you while your in your hottub, I can't express how absolutely amazing everyone was there, two owners are present if you ever need anything, the lady running the shop is also amazing, and the Gardner is very polite he was was lovely to, we will definitely book again, thank you heathside for an amazing stay ❤ it is also very clean space and you have everything needed if you wanted to cook there or eat out.

Excellent camp site. Huge field for kids to play in and a on site shop that doubles as the village shop as well which is packed full.

Amazing stay here with my family. Gorgeous clean lodge with plenty of space for my little one to run around. Our lodge was cozy and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommend this place for a family get away or a couples retreat. Nice area around to go for a walk and a shop close by for essentials. The hot tub was great also..Loved it🥰 we are planning to book again for next year!

The highlight of our stay was definitely the outdoor area, which includes a beautiful garden and a patio area with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. It's the perfect place to sit and relax with a book or a glass of wine.

Such a lovely clean calming retreat! We try to go once a year. The owners and staff have always been accommodating and pleasant. We love it! Lovely walks, hot tub is great and a lovely clear sky at night also provides us with fantastic look at planets, meteor showers x

Great place to stay (log cabin). Great location, very secluded, quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was lovely and service/bits and bobs provided topped it off. Would thoroughly recommend for a weekend away.

Just returned from a weekend break at this lovely place. It was very quiet and tranquil. The lodge, a deben premiere, was lovely and clean, well equipped spacious and warm. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was well maintained and a good temperature. The towels and bedding were of a good quality. A really relaxing break with lots of the Suffolk coastline close by. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely fantastic had a lovely relaxing week (well we are still here) and booked same lodge next year. Everywhere clean staff friendly donkeys lovely the Jacuzzis are emptied and cleaned after every occupant the lodges were spotless Absolutely nothing too much trouble for any of the staff going above and beyond a lot of repeat customers so think that says it all.

Lodge was really clean and homely. Hot tub was great after a day out sightseeing. Owners were really friendly & to top it off we had 3 donkeys close to our lodge.

We really loved this holiday park, quiet well laid out, most log cabins are set so you get sun throughout the day and evening on the decking. Well maintained lots of open space, lovely nature walk with a large pond, very relaxing. Cabin was spotless well done to the staff! Highly recommend this place, in easy reach of the beach Dunwich, Aldborough. Worth exploring the area around the site with heathland footpaths.

Great activities in the field as it has plenty of space, a basket ball net, football goals, children's play area with swings and so on it even has a ping pong table and badminton net. Free bbqs supplied next to cabins you only need coals 👍🏻

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed by the friendly welcome. The lodge was immaculate and very comfortable with all the amenities one could want. You can walk straight out into beautiful countryside.
We would thoroughly recommend a visit to this first class venue.

Fantastic little lodge, clean and spacious. Hot tub was clean and regularly checked. Site is well kept with a nature trail onsite. Great little pub just a 5 min walk away. We will definitely stay again.

booked a hot tub lodge very last minute. i was so impressed with how clean the cabin and all the rooms were. kitchen utensils were well stocked. we had beautiful views and seemed a perfect location. 100% would visit again.
