Easily one of the best breakfasts we've ever had.

Cartmel food shed is situated perfectly, and around the corner from a Premier shop. The breakfast rolls are *amazing* - no other word for it!

With every bite you can taste the fresh, real ingredients and the portion sizes are brilliant too. If you're in Cartmel, or just passing through, go here for your breakfast. You won't be disappointed!

They are also very catering towards vegans, and happy to go out of their way to create something quickly that wasn't on the menu to accommodate. Lastly, there are also freshly made cakes, brownies, and other bits such as sausage rolls and scotch eggs available.

We were staying in Cartmel for a long weekend and this place was a morning essential. Before our countryside walks we picked up some ‘Cartmel Coppers’. These were exceptionally good. The service was also very friendly. A fantastic local food place.

Bought sausage rolls for our walk and all of us commented how they were the best sausage rolls we’d had in years. Loved them so much we came back the next day for our post walk indulgence - yum!

We LOVE this place. Delicious sandwiches, perfect to take with you on a hike in the beautiful Lake District. Very friendly staff. Can’t get enough of the brownie.

A hidden gem…called in for a quick coffee and a bite to eat on our bike ride today. Came out with the most sumptuous Cumberland Sausage Scotch Egg I’ve ever eaten. Cakes, pies and fancies galore, all this with wonderful service from the 2 ladies in the shop

Gorgeous sandwiches made from high quality homemade ingredients. We had the ploughman’s sandwiches which were extraordinary- made with local ewe cheese, homemade ham hock and red onion relish. We had them on a walk and they were the perfect way to make the most of the lovely scenery.

Oh my words!! First time I have ever bought anything from this lovely little sandwich shop... It was absolutely brilliant.. lovely and fresh ingredients and service was also brilliant! Cannot fault and will be back again!!

We had the best breakfast baps in a long time. Reasonably priced & efficient service. This drew us back to try the cakes in the afternoon; apple crumble cake, banoffee cake & rhubarb cake…all amazing & could not decide which was best!! Will be going back tomorrow to try the sandwiches….the pulled pork sounds amazing!!

We only discovered this on our way home, to our disappointment! Best sausage rolls ever - equal only to my Mum’s! They were so nice my husband ate his and went back to get one for the road!!

Wonderful range of sizable and well-priced delicious sandwiches and cakes. A small number of seats inside, but mainly a takeaway. Go!

During the recent power cut we were lucky enough to receive a hot meal here. The food was delicious! The staff were so friendly and helpful. I'd recommend the breakfast buns. Absolutely fantastic. Thanks guys.
